1 Star and 5 Star reviews on Yelp? When a company has a discrepancy like this, consumer groups say BEWARE! Most 5 Star reviews will be friends and employees of the business, or solicited by the business. When I made my purchase, I was asked to give a 5 Star review, but there was no way I could. You will be promised things by sales staff that the narcissistic owner, will later rudely deny was ever promised. Some warning signs that should keep you from buying a motor vehicle, of any kind, at ATV Wholesale: Cash only, or get charged a considerable amount for using your card? Only a 30 day warranty on a motor vehicle? More is charged for DMV than the actual amount, although the owner claims he isn’t charging anything extra, like document fees. (I was charged 30.00 more than the actual DMV charge.) These guys are dishonest. The “mechanics” that work here seem like rejects from name brand cycle shops. This place is the end of the line.In reading the reviews you will find a pattern: 1. Product purchased soon begins to fail. 2. Customer seeks a reasonable remedy, but continues to have the same, or more serious problems. 3. 30 day warranty ends, or is denied. 4. Buyer spends money in hopes of protecting investment to no avail. 5. Out of complete frustration, customer writes a 1 star review in the hopes that no one else will make the mistake of buying anything at ATV Wholesale. 6. Owner, Doug, of ATV Wholesale writes a rebuttal, personally attacking the customer and uses one of the following lines “This sounds like a competitor,” “This person is a liar,” or “This person isn't in my database.”
This place is great! Chet helped me, answered all my questions and let me take my time. Knowlegeable and easy to talk to. When im ready to buy ill be back!
Very helpful staff that will go out of their way to order parts for you. Good selection of off and on road vehicles.
Excellent place to take your Harley to get it repaired, replacement parts or to purchase a new cycle.
Great people, timely, excellent Harley Davidson mechanic. They brought my 1994 Heritage back to life.
Great price but you're going to pay for it when you have to get it fixed. These are very brittle quads. We ride it very easily and have had to spend over 500 to fix it and now it's broken again and it's only been a couple weeks. They sell them for cheap but make their money back with the amount of time you will be paying them to fix it. Great people at the store.
This place always takes care of me when ordering and buying parts. The new rm 85 we got here run perfect and was best prices here. Parts and service works great here.
Very nice service. Have good selection of parts at a reasonable dealership price. They have had to order parts for me and very fast.
horrible place do not go there they just broke my part in front of me and refuse to fix it or give me a discount on a new one or even apologize save yourself the trouble and headache and never go there and they wouldn't let me leave a 0-star or I would have
I took my bike in for a damage estimate after getting hit. I spent an hour there, mostly in front of the desk while the guy sat at his computer. Another guy took my bike out for a test ride, which lasted no more than 15 minutes, which occurred towards the end of the hour. I was billed for a full hour of labor ($92) despite only spending 15 minutes of actual hands on time on the bike. My main complaint is that this was a damage estimate, not a commission of work, why was I charged for an estimate? I would understand if they charged me their standard $92/hour rate for the actual time they spent on my bike, but they charged me for a full hour instead of just the 15 minutes of labor they actually provided. The insurance company informed me that estimates shouldn't have a charge attached to them, and no one I have talked to who as had to get a damage estimate has heard of such a practice. Given my experience, they will not get my business again, and I tell my friends who have bikes to be wary of this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
