One of my dogs was recently diagnosed with a disease he will have for the rest of his life. Because of this he needs daily medication for treatment and tests done evey other month to see how he is doing. Unfortunately this process is not cheap. However, the doctors have been great and do what they can to help me keep the costs down. They have all been wonderful. I will never go anywhere else! Thank you!

I used to go to this Hospital when Dr. Bird and Dr. Bower was there. But after these new rude and money maker people bought this hospital in 2001 this place is just like a hell. These people worry about money more than your pet. That's why they made multimillionaire building even at time of recession. They try to attract people by minimum price for office visit- but after that--- oh my god there prices are too high. i would recommend not to go there at all . most expensive hospital and most unprofessional and rude hospital of sacramento
What can I say about South Sacramento Pet Hospital. They are the best. I would not go anywhere else. The vets are the absolute best. They treat my animals just like a member of the family. My dogs get excited to go the ""Doctor"", now who can say that about their vet! The girls and techs are very nice and helpful.
I have been going to SSPH for over 15 years. Dr. Kamboj and Staff have become like family. The front staff is very nice, understanding and greet you with a smile. Dr. Kamboj is the best vet I have ever been to. I will never take any of my animals to anyone else. It is stressfull enough to have to go to the vet sometimes, and to have the Dr. and staff recognize you and your animals and rememeber their history is wonderful. I never have to give a background history. Their hours are great and I can usually get in at the time I request with very little wait once I arrive.
I have been a client with this hospital for several years and they have always treated me nicely. Every time I had an emergency with my pets they have always treated my pets quickly and all the staff is realy nice and comforting with me. I will always come back and I refer all my friends to them.

I started coming to So. Sac Pet Hospital on an emergency dec 09, my youngest dog needed stiches and I havent gone anywhere else since. The staff takes such good care of all 3 of my Rottie's from well care to the surgery my oldest dog just had. Dr. Samaan did the very risky surgery to remove a tumor from a very tricky spot. Dr. Kamboj did the follow up care. I was so scared I was going to lose my dog, but all the staff was so supportive to me and took the most awsome care of my ""old gal"". I can't say enough about the Doctors or the staff. This is where I will always take my pets.

We have a white pittbull, was taken in diagnoses with mange , we attempted to give him over the counter or online treatments, did not work. So we took him back was seen by another doctor who said we will give him 5 shots every 2 weeks do not miss a shot. OK so we went back for the second shot 2 weeks over and was seen by another doctor, he said Kobe did not have mange anymore and was just allergic, gave him a steroid, needless to say Kobe lost all his belly hair and his nipples enlarged very bad. I am now looking for a good Vet to take him too. They might have good prices but not worth it, now my Male dog/puppy had bigger nipples than his sister. How embarrasing and is still red and scratchy , steroid did not help at ALL>

I had an emergency with my dog and this facility was very helpful and quick to attend to my dog. They were very understanding and helpful. I continue to take my dog in for re-checks every 3 days. They have been wonderful during our time of crisis. I would recommend the hospital for your pet needs. Dr. Kamboj and his staff are caring and treat Panda with compassion and gentleness.

The Dr. is nice. Ok. But there are plent of nice Vets. I was treated so rudely but the front office staff I will never ever go back. They looked bored uninterested and downright hostile. It was disturbing and the people there are VERY VERY COLD. Usually I know people have bad days, but these two girls working in the front are so rude, he's gonna have to start giving away exams. Even when I was checking out, they never were nice to me when I asked questions. They were unorganized and really lacked any knowledge. Rude pencil pushers if you ask me.
