PONY EXPRESS MARATHON / PEM PRESENTED BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF SACRAMENTO FRIDAY, APRIL 29, 2016 - SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2016! FULL MARATHON Come qualify for Boston on our FLAT and FAST course! Start on Capitol Mall and tour our city on foot – see so much of what we have to offer! This USATF certified course starts and finishes on Capitol Mall while hitting many of our best points in between: Both sides of the Sacramento River, the Tower Bridge, Raley Field, Land Park, and so much more! HALF MARATHON With a start and finish on Capitol Mall, half marathons don’t get much better than this! After the first few miles of just the half marathon runners, you’ll join the full marathon course for a beautiful run along the Sacramento River, down towards Land Park, then you’ll head back up towards downtown and finish back on Capitol Mall in front of the Capitol Building. This course is USATF certified. RELAY There are four legs to the Pony Express Marathon Relay. Each of these legs vary in length and see a different part of our historic city. Registration is available for teams of two to four. Which leg will you choose? 5K The 5K distance is a loop that starts and finishes at the full marathon start line. You’ll get to see historic Old Sacramento, the Pony Express monument, and the beautiful Sacramento River. This course is not certified
