I found LPVH through a friend and am so glad I did.
Dr. Katsura is not only sympathetic and gentle with my animals he is the same with me. I had to put down my 19 year old Kiki (who I'd had from kittenhood) as a result of acute pancreatitis. No suggestions of costly tests or life extending measures were suggested - he was honest about the lack of quality of life that she had and would continue to have. I was a wreck and he was very kind and understanding....He is the doctor for the kitties and dog I have now....wish he saw birds too....

Dr Katsura is truly the best. He has been our Animal Doctor for 10 years now. He's good with animals & their owners. He is easy-going & doesn't push costly procedures as we've experienced with past Veterinarians. We won't take our animals any place else for veterinary care as long as he's around.

I have been using Land Park Vet for 15 years and love it! Dr. Katsura is great with the animals and their owners. He never pushes for any unnecessary, costly treatments. They have always fit me in last minute with emergency visits too. Everything is always very clean from the waiting room to the exam room. I have never had a bad experience at this vet in 15 years.

With a new, eight-week old pure-bred sheltie, we chose LPVH for location but find it excellent. A no-frills but pleasant and CLEAN waiting area and friendly staff are met first. The doctor is kind to both his little patient and nervous adoptive ""parents."" We think you'll be pleased, too! Don't know whether the pet store close by is related, but the doctor does not push it and it IS handy.
