Great customer service, great parts! I was in and out in 10 min. Got all the parts for my bmw, had them all in stock. their guys know what they are talking about even when i didnt. thanks F.P.S

STAY AWAY!!! I recently cut all of my business of with this store. I am tired of the parts breaking and getting wrong ones. I was making it work and dealing with this for a long time but my last straw has been the warehouse. I have called numerous times and the guy working in there is dumber than a bag of rocks! I have been doing business with them for years and thought maybe he was a temp or something but that doesn't seem to be the case. He can't answer the simplest of questions without putting me on hold for 10 mins and mostly just seems confused ALL OF THE TIME! This has been extremely frustrating for me on top of everything else. If this review saves 1 person the time and hastle of dealing with this ridiculously run business than it was worth the time it took me to write.

I called this business to order some intake parts for my 1991 bmw. The first time I called and pressed 1 for the order desk my call was received by a very rude individual named JC. His idea of telling me to hold was picking up the phone yelling "don't hang up" and then putting me back on hold. When I finished holding I asked him If he was the "gentleman" who just yelled at me and If he was going to continue yelling at me or if I could order some parts, he responded by telling me I had the wrong attitude and hanging up on me. I called back and my call was received by another person named Lad who when I asked for the manager proceeded to tell me how nothing I would say was going to help and I was wasting my time. However infinitely more polite than JC, Lad eventually relinquished the name of the manager and the day I could call back to reach him. I'm not going to waste my time even calling back to talk to the manager. I will take my business and hopefully the prospective business of all my peers elsewhere. As a resident born and raised in Sacramento, a UTI student, and a local area mechanic you can bet that anyone who asks me where to find foreign parts will be steered clear of this business. -Zack

After a recent purchase at F.P.S. I was once again amazed at how professional their staff is!

Not only do the salesmen KNOW almost EVERYTHING about the parts they sell, but they are even willing to EXPLAIN WHY I need each part. Many corporate store i.e. kragen/napa/autozone/factory motor/world pac/imc just dont have the trained specialist with the knowledge that F.P.S. has. I know when I order from F.P.S. I will get a HIGH QUALITY PART and not a generic knock-off! I believe their customer service is SECOND TO NONE!!! You get the right part the first time, and if you order it for delivery, F.P.S. is always the one who gets my parts to me the FASTEST! ALWAYS!!! I have no complaints for this place, and as a customer I would even PUT MY NAME BEHIND THEM. Give them a call and see for yourself! 916 453 8575!!! Ask for CHRIS or J.C.!!! My brother and I are preparing to rebuild our dads Porsche. We started out at the Recycle yard out in Rancho...the stuff that they were bring up to us, we could not tell what was and the young boy behind the counter really could not help us. Then we went to "UPull it" and we really had no idea if what we were getting was what we need. The man there said go to FPS on Elvas Ave. He sd that this would be our best for new quality parts and good prices.



Our first encounter@ FPS, was with JC. He took about 15 minutes with us, explaining what we needed and why, he looked up more than 15 parts for us and with No pressure to buy! He really took his time making sure we were knowledgeable in what we were buying.



We went back home and looked up the prices on the internet and most of the stuff we found was off brand for the same price and it was two or three days out. So we went back to FPS and Chris got our order pulled, while we waited the staff really seemed like they were happy to be there, they even took our son over to feed the fish in the hugh fish tank they keep in the lobby. Ten minutes later all of the stuff we requested was opened up and Chris spent amply time explaining to my brother the things he was unsure about. The staff even walked us out to the car and loaded all the heavy items for us!



A few days later we needed a few specialty items and we called FPS back and spoke with Joe. To our superise, Joe explained that the items are cheaper through the dealer and said that we should try them first, he had the parts via special order about 2 days out, but sd to try the dealer....!!!WHAT!!!..who does that, Joe really was looking out for us and not just looking at our pockets. The dealer had it, and they were a bit cheaper, however they couldn't get for a week. Because of our deadline for this fathers day. We called Joe back and he had it overnighted. They called when it arrived and again, help us out to our car. Foreign Parts has just earned a customer indifintely!
