Crown Dentistry

Dental Examination
Dr. Christopher Chan performs a comprehensive examination, oral cancer screening, and needs assessment on every patient. We also implement the use of intraoral photography and digital radiography, improving Dr. Chrisâ€™ communication between him and the patients. If any treatment is needed, he will discuss them in our private consultation room with each patient to plan what steps should be taken.
X-rays
Digital radiographs allow patients to experience less radiation, shorter appointment times, and the ability to view their images on-screen during their visit. This improves the communication process related to discussing oral care needs with our patients.
Oral Cancer Screening
Screening for oral cancer is an important step we take at every preventive care appointment. Oral cancer is greatly on the rise among younger adults; not only due to alcohol or tobacco use, but also to risk factors like HPV. Early diagnosis improves the rate of successful care.

Teeth Cleaning
Fluoride Treatment
Topical fluoride helps restore necessary nutrients into tooth enamel and prevent the likelihood of developing decay. It can also be used to treat or prevent chronic tooth sensitivity. We offer fluoride varnish to all children up to the age of 14, and is available to all adults at their preventive care appointments.

Veneers
Dental veneers correct the appearance of crowded, uneven, misshapen, or irregularly sized teeth. Each porcelain veneer is placed over the front of the natural tooth, creating the illusion of a brand new, functional tooth. Bridges
How does CEREC work? This technology uses 3D imaging to take a â€œvirtual impressionâ€ of the prepared tooth once it is shaped and ready for the restoration to be placed, eliminating the need for gooey dental impressions. This 3D image is then sent electronically to the milling equipment right here in our office that transforms the image into a real life crown, dental bridge, inlay, onlay, or veneer during the very same visit. The precise level of detail makes CEREC made dental crowns and other items fit even better than a replacement method made in a professional dental lab.
Dental Bonding
Bonding is useful for closing small gaps, repairing broken edges of teeth, or even covering up small irregularities in tooth enamel, such as exposed root surfaces. The material is matched to the shade of the enamel, allowing it to blend in and look like a normal part of the tooth.
Restorative Dentistry

Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic therapy removes damaged or diseased nerve tissue in teeth that have experienced trauma or large areas of decay. Dr. Chan offers in-house root canal treatment.

Dentures
Traditional dentures are often bulky and make it difficult to enjoy meals or even to talk. Implant-retained dentures are much more streamlined. Shaped like a â€œUâ€ , they follow the shape of the natural jawbone in the mouth and free up space that was traditionally used to create a suction to hold the denture in. Most implant-retained dentures can be placed on as few as 4 implant roots. Unlike traditional dentures, implant-retained dentures stay in place permanently and never have to be removed.
