Classic Craft has restored my 1961 Century Sabre twice in the last 16 years. They were great to work with and did an amazing job both times. I would highly recommend them for any and all boat repairs no matter what kind of boat you have. Gary and Frank are the best!!

Our First Choice!

As a local marine repair service here in Sacramento we at Delta Breeze Marine only have a few choices when it comes to high quality Marine Fiberglass Repairs. Our "Go To Guys" are the crew at Classic Craft. Gary (the owner) is very well versed when it comes to all areas of boat construction and repair. Quality repairs are not the only reason for our loyalty. Gary has never failed us when it comes to honesty, warranty and the ability to complete a job in a timely manor. It all comes down to "Customer Service" a trait that seems to be hard to find these days.

Thank you Delta Breeze. I think Classic Craft takes care of about 90% of the boat dealers and boat shops in the Sacramento region and as we feel we are the grandfathers of boat repair in the area we always will do our best to encourage and help the boat industry. Smooth Sailing, Gary

I needed some Fiberglass and g...

I needed some Fiberglass and gelcoat repair on my Mastercraft X30 hull and bow. First of all, Gary's quote came in about half the cost of another shop! That may not be the case for every job, but because of his experience, Gary can tell you pretty quickly what the job will cost. You won't sacrifice the quality of workmanship with the savings either. I am extremely happy with the results of the repair work, and he was very quick to complete the job. He even repaired a couple of minor things that were not part of the project, and it was no extra cost.....talk about pride in workmanship! I learned quite a bit about boats and boat surfaces from Gary during the process as well. He is super knowledgeable and willing to share that. I recommend his work if you care about your boat. Thanks Gary.

Just as promised...quick and good job.

Gary is the man when it comes to fiberglass repair. He delivered quickly and he even gave me a discount. He promised to have my boat before the weekend, it was done that afternoon. All I have to do is test it on the water. Please continue to support this business, he is fair, honest and reliable. We need more businesses like Gary's.

flando thank your for your positive review. It is always a pleasure making boaters happy and especially nice when they take the time to let others know as you have. Hope you do not need Classic Craft fiberglass repair services again, but if you do we will always try to give the fastest and most reasonbly priced boat repairs.

Excellent Body Work

I recently took my boat t Classic Craft on Folsom Blvd. Sacramento location for repairs on my boat. The owners spent a great deal of time with me to find out exactly what repairs were needed from my perspective. They then did a comprehensive inspection to confirm all repairs. Prior to beginning the repairs, the owner called me and reviewed the findings so that we both came to a mutual agreement on the needed repairs and estimated costs. True to their word, the repairs were done timely, accurately and extremely professionally. My hats off to a company that honors their committments and performs superior repairs. Kudos to you all. I would recommend to your services to all my boatng friends.

Best Value Boat Shop in Northern California

Gary has restored and repaired several classic speed boats for my Dad and me over the past 25 years. He is a true "old school" craftsman.....the type with the rare skills that are hard to find these days. Gary's workmanship is beyond reproach, his prices are very reasonable and he will never try to talk you into expensive repairs if he thinks there's a less expensive alternative. Give Classic Craft a try.....you will be glad you did!

Thanks landpoor for your review. I will always try to look after anyone that deals with Classic Craft and it is always good to hear that our efforts are appreciated. Gary

Fiberglass boat Repair

Gary did an excellent job on our 05 Centurion Concourse!

After our hull was damaged from the dock, I took our boat to Gary at Classic Craft. His crew was quick and thorough, with the repairs. I got it back the same week and now it looks brand new!

I would definitely recommend Classic Craft's work to anybody and be a repeat customer (but hope I don't have a reason to be).

claimed iconBusiness Response06/06/2010

Thank you for your positive review bnapton. I also hope you have no reason to bring your boat in again. Stay safe out there and remember freinds of Classic Craft do not have to have a reason to stop by and say hello and see what is happening at the shop. As you know we are always busy and there is always something interesting to see. Thanks again Gary

TOP NOTCH WORK!!!

Had a 2007 Centurion that needed some fiberglass work done. Had a couple of quotes from the other guys, but went with Classic Craft. Best choice I made! Not only was the work good, classic craft was 25% less, and 2 weeks quicker than the other guys! Will be using Classic Craft for all my work. Thanks Gary

Work boat repairs

Classic craft repaired a California Department of Fish and Game work boat. The boat is a 20 foot Grady White with some front end damage along the rub rail and some gel coat chips along the keel. After checking out several vendors and getting bids we found gary to be the most reasonable deal. After talking to Gary I found him to be very knowldgeable and he gave me confidence that he could do the job right. We picked the boat up last week and it looks wonderful. The damage to the front is blended in so well you can only see the repair if you really look hard. Matching this finish was impossible and we knew that goin in. The boat is 20 years old and has spent the bulk of it's life parked outside. So the finish is not high gloss and looks nothing like a showroom boat. It is a working vessel. Gary and his crew fixed our vessel at a reasonable price and most importantly in the time he said he would. The boat is already back on the water and it looks great. Thanks Gary and Classic Craft.

Thank you for your review, Paul. Praise coming from a professional captain really means alot to us here at Classic Craft and we are very pleased to have been of good service to you. That was a rather large damaged area of fiberglass and gelcoat that we had to fix. Doing boat repair that looks good and is 100% means that the boat will have a longer service life which always equates out to savings in the long run. I know you are always safe on the water but I still do not envy the weather that you must operate in. Safe Boating, Gary

Great Work!

I took a damaged wakeboard boat to Gary at Classic Craft a couple of weeks ago. He repaired the gelcoat and rub-rail to like-new condition, I can't even tell where the damage was. This was also a double-color repair, both yellow and white needed work. His friendly service and accurate estimate were highlights of the service, I would highly recommend!

Thank you for your feedback trairdan. Here is hoping that you get many more years of use with no "accidents". Gary

Best Bang for any buck

After searching the area and getting numerous quotes, Gary at Classic Craft gave me (by far) the best quote. It was less than half of what the other guys charged. So, was quality sacrificed? Absolutely not. We couldn't tell where the fiberglass damage had been on our 2006 Nautique. We have since taken numerous boats and PWCs there. They are really easy to work with, even on short notice sometimes. We would never take a boat anywhere else and always recommend Classic Craft to our friends.

Classic Craft Is a well oiled clock

I Jaime Campos of Warlocks Auto Accessories Inc. have been doing business with Gary for the past 10 years.

Gary is the most reasonable shop in town, and has always taken care of my self and any referral customers I have sent to him. Gary Is always very accurate with his time and quotations as a business owner I do not like surprises classic craft has always Taken care of me and I would recommend the team at classic craft to any one looking for ay type of fiberglass restoration or repair.

Jamie have we been repairing fiberglass boats for you for 10 years? I guess we have and the time sure has flown by. But considering that I am entering into my 46th year building and repairing wood and fiberglass boats, time has a way of slipping by. Thanks again and as always you know where we are. gary

Fiberglass Repair

We recently damaged our boat on Folsom lake on a large submerged granite bolder. Other shops, due to many boats being damaged due to the low water levels in Folsom were backloged and stated we would have to wait 6 to eight weeks. Clssic Craft was able to get the boat in and repaired with 3 weeks and handled all of the insurance issues. Great service and I would recommend them hands down.

claimed iconBusiness Response06/06/2010

Thank you for your review, pcbbinc. As you know after meeting the crew of Classic Craft we love boats and can not stand to see a boat damaged and not on the water. Just one of our teams quirks. We love being on the water so much ourselves. Watch out for obstructions and we hope you stop by and say hi when you have the opportunity. Gary

Great Work

We know when it came time to have some restoration work done on our 1950 Chris Craft, that we would take it to Classic Craft. We are very happy with the results and we will definitely take it back for future work.

Boat Repair

Classic Craft recently replaced the worn out carpet in my 1998 Keaton 18J. Gary was able to perfectly match the color and the install took less than one day...The boat now looks as good as new. The price was very fair and the work is exceptional. I would highly recommend Classic Craft for your boat repairs.

Thanks Chad. The Keatons sure are fun boats aren't they. The clean white fiberglass lines and the sound of the watercooled big block along with there performance always gives me a adrenaline rush. gary

Saved the original planks.

I am more than completely satisfied with Gary's shop work on refinishing my totally original Philbrick. As you know the more original wood on a boat the more original it is and the higher the value it maintains. I took my boat to Gary for a refinishing and was prepared for at least a half dozen planks would be replaced due to splitting. Gary investitgated the reason for the splitting and concluded it was due to insufficant hull ribbing in the bow. He installed 3 new ribs and was then able to fill and pull in the the cracked planks to the original form and then refinished the boat. the boat looks better than when i first picked it up as new! Gary has retained ALL the original wood and increased the boats value. I am very, very pleased with the scope of the repairs and refinish and believe it was done at a very fair price. I highly recomend Classic Craft for your wood boat repairs and refinishes.

CLASSIC CRAFT REVIEW

I HAVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH CLASSIC CRAFT FOR OVER 20 YEARS. GARY HAS RESTORED 5 BOATS FOR ME, TWO OF WHICH WERE BASKET CASES. THE TWO BASKET CASES, ONCE RESTORED, WERE TAKEN TO THE TAHOE BOAT SHOW AND WON MULTIPLE AWARDS. THIS HAS TO SPEAK LOUDLY ABOUT GARY'S ABILITIES AS A CRAFTS PERSON. HIS MANY YEARS OF EXPIERENCE GIVES HIM A BROAD RANGE OF ABILITIES TO SOLVE THE MOST COMPLEX PROBLEMS FACED IN ANY RESTORATION. I CAN RECOMMEND

THIS SHOP, WITHOUT RESERVATION, FOR BOTH QUALITY OF WORK AND FAIRNESS OF PRICE.

Wow krauzy. You know it has been close to thirty years since we met and I started restoring boats for you. And now you have given us our first review on the internet. Would you even have dreamed this back when we first met. All screws had to be turned by hand as there were no cordless drill/drivers. And no really good power sanders so I had to sand everything by hand. Helped make my arms so large! Thanks again for the review and for the long association, it has been fun winning all those trophies. gary
