I took my bike in for a damage estimate after getting hit. I spent an hour there, mostly in front of the desk while the guy sat at his computer. Another guy took my bike out for a test ride, which lasted no more than 15 minutes, which occurred towards the end of the hour. I was billed for a full hour of labor ($92) despite only spending 15 minutes of actual hands on time on the bike. My main complaint is that this was a damage estimate, not a commission of work, why was I charged for an estimate? I would understand if they charged me their standard $92/hour rate for the actual time they spent on my bike, but they charged me for a full hour instead of just the 15 minutes of labor they actually provided. The insurance company informed me that estimates shouldn't have a charge attached to them, and no one I have talked to who as had to get a damage estimate has heard of such a practice. Given my experience, they will not get my business again, and I tell my friends who have bikes to be wary of this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
