Capital City Hot Tubs

My experience buying hot tub from this company has been terrible. The hot tub that was delivered to me initially was damaged. I paid for a $5000 brand new spa and it came with gouge marks in the shell. I called the store and talked with Don, the owner who sold me the spa told him the problem and he said he would send his techs out To fix it. They did come out and they sanded it down, yes I said sanded it! This was not the techs fault as he was just doing what he was instructed to do.I told him that I was obviously not happy with that.Don screamed and yelled at me on the phone and told me “too bad it’s not like I’m going to replace it!” I said actually you are going to replace it it’s a brand new spa With a warranty. Finally someone else had to get on the phone and agreed to replace it. They delivered another spa and it also had structural problems. The whole bottom of the spa was bubbled up inside, one huge mountain of bubble that was 5 to 6 inches high. I called the store and told them.They said they would send their techs back out to look at it. The tech turned it over and took foam out of the bottom of it. The foam was there to actually insulate the spa so this was concerning to me, It did not end up fixing the problem so I called Again and told them. This was a major manufacture defect. They said they were going to take the spa away and send it back to the manufacture to work on I didn’t hear from them for about three weeks. I got a call saying they ordered a new Spa would swap them out. This was yesterday that my spa was delivered... And again it had gouges in the shell of the spa inside. I called and told the owner this was unacceptable and he could either refund me my entire purchase and take the spa away and we could be done with each other or he could order a new spa and thoroughly look it over before it is delivered to me. He screamed and yelled at me told his employees to leave and left me with the damage Spa what she intends to do nothing about it.

I have been looking for a spa for over 4 months and have seen just about everything locally. I am convinced that the Nordic is the best deal for the money. I does everything the other fancy spas do but even better with the Whirlpool Jet.
It seems to have the best material for the shell and the best components for the equipment. I really like the reliability from the service records I reviewed. So, after much time and energy, I chose the most spa for my money and I know I will be satisfied because I already am. Every morning for about an hour. This really makes my day and I feel much better. I thank all you guys that made the purchase and installation simple and easy. Good work! I will send you some customers.

Called Capital City Hot Tubs to discuss repairing my hot tub power unit or junking the spa. Their technician, Don, was very helpful with lots of info that helped me make up my mind. Don was very familiar with my unit. and was right to the point on repairs, estimated costs etc. Armed with the facts and simple cost benefit analysis I'm taking it to the dump in my P/U. Much thanks to these folks for spending some time with me in spite of no business transaction. If I buy another Spa, CCHT will be the guys I see.

I have used this business for several years for their excellent service & repair guys. The time came to trade in my 20 year old spa for a new Caldera and I picked the perfect spa this time... The Kauai. Got a great price and a fair trade in value. Very Happy!!

I never expected when I received a Capital City Hot Tub as a Gift in my Homeland of Croatia that I would be shown such care from CCHT. The Spa was sent to the wrong house originally 50 miles from my house and when I called CCHT to ask the best way to transport the Hot tub, Mr. Luke took 20 minutes to explain the process. He asked 'do you need this done this week?' I said , 'No', and he continued stating he had always wanted to visit Croatia and I will be darned if he didn't combine a vacation for himself and a service call for a customer. He not only helped me move the Spa, he set the Spa up for which included changing out the motor to the European Standard. I would say this going over the top for the customer. I would not even think of buying a hot tub anywhere else. Thank you Mr. Luke and Capital City Hot Tubs. You are the best!

I didn't think there was business like this one available anymore. I am so satisfied with the total presentation of this company that I am confident this product and thier service will be the best dicision I ever made. The spa operates better than I expected and the insulating cover is the best I have ever seen. The delivery and set up was flawless, just like they said it would be and I am thrilled.
