The Pavilion at Haggin Oaks is a unique venue for special events such as weddings, anniversaries or even maybe Junior Prom or Senior Ball. I attended a retirement dinner there recently and was impressed with the facility. The dinner was held in their sturdy white tent (that stayed completely dry despite the driving rain and wind). The area was set up with tables, chairs, and tablecloths and the wait staff circulated appetizers as we waited to begin. Dinner was buffet style with a good selection of salad, rolls, roasted potatoes, vegetables, roast beef and chicken. Due to the weather we were inside the entire time but the tent can be opened to the garden in nicer weather. All in all a very nice facility for special occasions.
This was a great place to catch a show. I liked the way the seating was done; it made it so every seat had a good look up front.
This is my favorite public course in the area. There are harder more challenging courses bu this course is very unique in a positive way. How it is designed each hole stands alone. You do not see any other hole but the one you're playing. Beautiful woods, wonderfu wildlife and a sporty challenging course. The condition of the course is A++++
The food is great! Always good enjoy everytime I go. The golfers are also considerate with eachother which is important when you mix a golf course and a foot golf course together. The employees are knowledgeable about golf and the basics to help any age of golfers, even my son who is 5. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
This would have received 3 stars last year, but they have stepped up their game by replacing their chairs and making the experience that much better. Some other things are still a little dated and theaters are smaller. But get there early and you'll have no problem getting the seat you want!
I took the family here on free museum day. So needless to say it was very crowded, but we got to enjoy all of the exhibits. There's a good mix of things to see here. Not my favorite museum, and the kids seem to enjoy running around outside the most. Love the Space Center though!
I grew up in Sacramento and I've been here I dont know how many times. I like the history and train museums, and all of the shops, restaurants. One thing I havent done that I would like to do is the horse and buggy ride. Nice for a family outing.
Fun for everyone to see all those trains. Little ones love playing with the trains upstairs. There are always so many volunteers around to answer your questions. It's not the most exciting museum I've been to, but it's fun for a couple hours.
Had a ball in Sacramento Between the Crocker Art Museum and Napa Kettle I've got the most unique gifts this holiday season. I'll be back. I got a couple of memberships as gifts for friends... cant wait to see the look on their faces.
My son golfs in tournaments here. It's a fun course with some bunker challenges. The only down fall is not having enough golf carts available (especially those with a disability). People are friendly and food is good at Mulligans.
This place was so much better than I expected! It is huge with multiple floors and tons of rooms with different exhibits. I could spend hours wandering around, admiring the huge variety of pieces. Great gift shop downstairs.
