Very cute shop, with plenty of seats. There was some outdoor seating as well. The baristas were all very friendly! I explained to the guy that I like sweeter coffees, and he whipped up an iced vanilla latte which hit the spot! Their pastry display looked delicious! It's a bit pricey - before tip about $6 for an average size cup of coffee. Though, given location, I suppose it makes sense.

Friendly employees and good food friendly place
Wonderful, vibrant urban church in historic 100 year old building in the heart of downtown's art district. Traditional Lutheran services; liberal, help the poor "Live God's Love in the World" mission; growing, family friendly, fun. Inspirational services. Glad I found it. My family's spiritual home.
St. John's Lutheran Church inspiring mission, "Live God's Love in the World" is shown by the warm and friendly pastors, the congregation and its activities. St. Johns started the St. Johns Shelter for Women and Children and facilitated it becoming a non profit to obtain grants and donations in addition to church support. Part of the church message is that it is an urban church helping to address social issues in Sacramento, e.g. Food Bank, the homeless, and other issues. St. Johns focuses on its youth and all ages of its members. The church and sanctuary are beautiful with a wonderful sounding organ and choir. I was raised a Lutheran and have always appreciated the progressive Lutheran faith.
Awesome church filled with loving people. This church goes beyond the church bulding taking time to serve ans impact the community. Definitely would recommend that you come and check it out for yourself.
Great experience, it has every type of workout equipment. You can walk the track or on a treadmill! Great atmosphere for any college student
Delicious Mediterranean cuisine! Their menu is full of variety and flavor! They have a buffet option as well. The restaurant isn't the nicest inside, but it's a great place for an hour-long lunch break and they have a patio area to sit in the fresh air.
I personally contacted the church to advise them that the husband I married was a bigamist and married to someone else. They did nothing. How do you allow this type of behavior from your church member and then allow them to hold a position in church. To my knowledge they are suppose to be sat done until their life is in order.. I would not donate one dime to this church.
Great place to take safety classes and volunteer. You want to know CPR if you have children. Costs are minimal.
Amazing staff and great choices for lunch. Just get there earlier before the best selection of soups and salads are gone.
