I took the family here on free museum day. So needless to say it was very crowded, but we got to enjoy all of the exhibits. There's a good mix of things to see here. Not my favorite museum, and the kids seem to enjoy running around outside the most. Love the Space Center though!

Fun for everyone to see all those trains. Little ones love playing with the trains upstairs. There are always so many volunteers around to answer your questions. It's not the most exciting museum I've been to, but it's fun for a couple hours.
Had a ball in Sacramento Between the Crocker Art Museum and Napa Kettle I've got the most unique gifts this holiday season. I'll be back. I got a couple of memberships as gifts for friends... cant wait to see the look on their faces.
This place was so much better than I expected! It is huge with multiple floors and tons of rooms with different exhibits. I could spend hours wandering around, admiring the huge variety of pieces. Great gift shop downstairs.
My son can't get enough of this place. I highly recommend becoming a member. It pays for itself quickly. We love taking the train ride in the summer. Polar express was amazing last year. We have also done spookamotive.
We loved this place. I know that they are going to move and are probably going to put all their money into the new facility. Even though the facility seemed old and in need of a little tlc we still loved going here.
We took the underground tour below the street level in Old Sacramento. The Sacramento History Museum guide guide was informative, friendly, and entertaining. When you take this tour, be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
The yearly polar express train ride is outstanding. We have gone every year for the last 8 years. We all love it. The el dorado car is beautifully maintained and the actors are so much fun to interact with.
Everywhere you look and turn there is something else to look and marvel at. So much beauty packed in what appears from the outside as a small space, but is actually quite expansive. The cafe is pretty pricey.
Wonderful little spence and space center with a planetarium and mock mission trips for students. Fabulous little find if you're in the Sacramento region and don't want to drive all the way to San Francisco.
