I waited with my elderly mother to be able to pay and be seated for 45 minutes while they let a group pour in family by family and cut in front of everyone. Just when you thought everyone was there, the group called in more people on their phones who were not there and held their spots until they arrived. There were no set amount of tables for them, they were not all there, there were more and more being INVITED and then pulled into the line in front of us when they arrived. When the leader of the group let us go through, the employees wouldn't let me pay for my sister who was struggling to find a parking space (but they can let everyone else come in front of us and be paid for even though their never ending group wasn't all there?) even though we were all one table. I spoke to the manager, who was extremely rude to me and my mother, and he said that they didn't care and that they didn't have a table for us anyway. The employees are rude, the manager is rude, they are all completely incompetent, and I will NEVER go back there again.
Love the lunch buffet!! Great selection, delicious, reasonable price, and nice service. It's a nice midweek, midday treat.
The food is fresh, lots people eating here. Grill, Buffet, slushy bar also. Main thing it is really good. We stop by about every two weeks.

Horrible we got there at 9pm and the doors were locked even though the hours and tge "open" sign said other wise. What a waste of time. The guy at the front desk just watched us trying to open the door and gave no explication as to why they closed early...
the place is no good...... when they first open it was very good but now the food feels nasty.....................
Service was not good. But at the end, the waitress was pushing me to give him more tip than i wanted to give. Tips are based on if us, as customers want to give as complimentary to them. We shouldn't have to be told to give a certain amount. $15 in tip, is not reasonable at all! The damn waitress was waiting by my table not unless i gave him the $15. I gave him some, he kept saying more, more in broken English. My waitress was named Jason, so, this will be my very last time dining there! This is so disrespectful to me.
That has to be one of the most disgusting stores I've ever been in. They have the audacity to charge you the money for the food that you don't get and Service you don't get it I was appalled that the service and what a little amount of food to had out . It was asked me if the food is good there I'd have to tell him no don't ever go thank you for hearing me. GOD bless you all. Sincerely Eric
This place is horrible!! Food was disgusting and not fresh!!!! Also smelled gross inside!! Do not eat here!!! Don't even want to give it one star but it's making click on something
Went on Saturday 1pm 2 enjoy anytime breakfast. What a bust. 1st I was charged the dinner price $13.74,and told dinner on Saturday s begin @ 11 am. WHAT? Excuse me,WHO SERVES DINNER @ 11am. OK well I at best can have the highly advertised BREAKFAST served all day @ Golden Corral right? WRONG! After searching the place 4 breakfast items THERE IT IS MR STANLEY! in a wee corner hidden by the fish tray 4 thin as a dime tiny undone stick n 2 the bottom of the tray pan-things. Pick n up the tongs 2 attack a full tray of bacon, that's exactly what I got 1 massive tray size monster of cold cement taste n bacon. The so called sausages tasted like those veggie meats the vegans try 2 feed U "hey try it,it taste just like veggies masquerading as meat.I tried 2 pour the bottle labled MAPLE SYRUP on 2 the pan-things & with a slight tip of the bottle the whole thing emptied on 2 my plate.I asked 4 a tray & was told in Martian speak " trays are not allowed at the tiny baby sized tables. All in all though I had a great conversation s with my co diners sit n @ other tiny baby tables because U r sit n so close U fill like part of the family. OH YEAH IT WAS A GREAT DAY AT ELK GROVE GOLDEN CORRAL.
Skip it. Don't go. I first enjoyed a Golden Corral meal in Atlanta, GA. I thought I died and gone to heaven. Fresh beef cooked to order with the grill man standing the grill. Green beans done three different ways. Potatoes whipped, braised, baked, fried, sweet potatoes, turkey, chicken my oh my thought was in that great Smorgasbord in the sky. Desserts were still in the pie plates and cake platters, enough to fill to pool tables. mmmm...mmmm. This was in 2005 and every Golden Corral I tried in the South was the same caliber. Got back home and started looking for one on the West coast. The only one in Calif was over 200 mi away, so when one opened within 120 miles I could not wait. First time was 2011 and was I disappointed. The din of the music and patrons was deafening (the music was sedate in GA, the people could talk in quite whispers at their table). The meat was over cooked and dried out, no where near the choice of in the South. The dessert was in a carnival atmosphere. I tried again in 2012 and could not finish my meal. This buffet is not a one star...it has no where near the class of the ones back South. Go to Hometown Buffet, better food though very crowded.
