Great service

I love going to flicka! I think the service cant be beat! My waitress was very polite and on top of what she was doing. I dont think I have had a better experience around the area. Swing in and check it out. More than likley you will see alot of happy people.

Great Up North Establishment

I have been to Flickabirds a few times and could not disagree with LoftyLucie more. I am sorry she had a bad experience but the staff is very friendly, the food is fantastic especially the broasted chicken and ribs. Recently they have added a steak dinner which is good as well.
Its a nice atmosphere with a small town up north feel and they offer special events during the summer and winter such as Snowmobile races and festivals with live music and dancing etc.
In addition, its location is fantactic righ on East Rush Lake and you get get there by boat, car, or snowmobile. I sould strongly suggest paying it a visit as long as you dont have a Manny's expectation.

Not a good atmosphere

I have never in my life walked into a bar/restaurant and been treated like an outcast or cancer. The building is beautiful, however our service was terrible. Plastic forks and knives are ridiculous and my ribs were extremely tough. The owner was there at the time and when I complained to my server she did nothing. I overheard the people in back of me pointing out who the owner was. When I asked my server if I could speak with him, she said ""no, I don't bother him when he is drunk"" OK, not a good enough excuse. Anyways, I won't be back. The prices were unbelievable high compared to other bars around the area as well.
