O’Sullivan moved us for the second time and we will definitely be asking them to do our next. Very friendly and polite. I would certainly recommend.

My experience with O'Sullivan moving company started out great when it came to pricing the job over the phone
They had the best price I could find within the searching I did looking by comparing prices between three companies total
My issue that turned my stomach is with the two man moving crew that was sent to do my move
All during the move they complained about how they did not receive their bonus this year
Then they kept saying they were busting their but for me
I'm thinking no you're doing the job you were hired to do
So my bill came to $466.00
I give them $501.00 that way they have a $35.00 tip
Before I paid them we had an understanding that I would like to use one of the big boxes to unload some items from my vehicle into the box and bring up to my new place and they were fine with it
After I paid them the $501.00
I guess the $35.00 tip was not sufficient for them because they went ahead of me to the elevator talking negatively about the tip
Then they rushed to the truck threw the big box in the truck and pulled of so fast it had to be intentional so I had to remove the remaining items myself
Then I had to go back to my previous location and load more items myself
It was getting a bit uncomfortable to keep hearing them say they were busting their behind for me when they were hired to do a move job
I stopped at the gas station they got on the freeway before me
As I rode down the freeway I looked for that truck diligently never saw it
I arrived at the new location 15 minutes before them
They tried to say I passed them which I knew was a lie but I still was willing to tip them because that's the type of guy I am
I've never seen anyone so disrespectful and ungrateful about receiving a tip when in actuality the customer is not required to do any tipping
Will I use O'Sullivan moving sure as long those two are not doing the moving
They were so busy accessing my belonging they could not appreciate a tip as a blessing instead of an entitlement

I was very pleased with O'Sullivan Moving and Storage, I hired for my late-November 2014 move. Larry and Mike led the quoting process efficiently and effectively, truly helping me facilitate my process of moving – with their office staff providing clear, useful, timely information and assistance when needed. Ryan and Eric were punctual and easy to work with on moving day: courteous, professional, and hardworking. They took care of all my requests, clearly assessed my options with a definite priority for customer service, as I navigated the various judgment calls that arose as we went along. I wouldn't hesitate to call O'Sullivan Moving & Storage to help with my next move, or provide storage services (provided the move is in Michigan – and frankly I'd be interested in their recommendation even if it was an out-of-state, cross-country or different type of move that's not their specialty). I don't recall any of my previous moves actually taking a good bit less time, energy and resources than expected, or coming in with a lower total bill than expected, as this one did! Moving usually represents some sort of transition, a milestone to cross, and there is value in making the transition and crossing the milestone as clearly and well as possible. You and your possessions are in good hands, with O'Sullivan Moving.They know the moving business, and they do it well – transforming an experience that can be a stressful experience into more of a pleasure.

I did my homework up front using the Better Business Bureau A+ ratings as filter. I found

three (3) local companies that I had bid my job. Each did a great job of explaining their

quotes. This was essential to understand how companies charge and what to expect on the days of the pack and move. Some companies would not deal with packing attic contents and others were more than open. In the end I selected using O'Sullivan Moving and Storage. Mike (the owner) and Larry (the onsite estimator) were highly accessible and responsive to answer any questions I had about the quote and the move process.



All estimates were for the same scope (except for the attic detail I noted above). I had a

2300+ square foot home to be packed and moved within the same subdivision. O'Sullivan worked to create the most economical move by quoting two (2) trucks instead of a single unit. They also were the most creative in handling some bulk material moving (firewood). Here are the

All companies charged drive time to/from their warehouse and fuel costs, although at different rates. Insurance costs + coverages also varied.



My hat is off to the entire team at O'Sullivan Moving and Storage. I couldn't have made a

better decision than to go with O'Sullivan. My move at the end of May 2014 was as stress free an event that one could hope for. I want to issue a shout-out to all the packing and moving team members: Bill, Sandra, Jesse, Wardell, Kenny, Derrick, Dave M. and Denver. The two (2) teams that O'Sullivan provided were top-notch, very hard-working, trustworthy, considerate, efficient, personable and highly professional. They handled all the details without undue direction and even accommodated personal preferences without any question. You really know your stuff! Great job guys! I will recommend you and O'Sullivan in a heartbeat!

Paid them almost $1800 for less than 8 hours of work and 10 days of storage on a move two weeks ago. Got a quote for $85/hour for 5 additional pieces and was presented with a bill for $237. I had used them several times previous and referred them countless times. Now Mike O, says he is taking me to court because because I am only paying the $85 for less than 1 hour of work and less than 1 mile of drive between houses. I will NEVER refer them or use them again. I did not even go into the 2"x6" hole ripped in the couch they moved. Just too frustrated to deal with them anymore.

Hired o'sullivan last Wednesday for our move from 4 bedroom house w full basement to a two bedroom appt w nice storage space (a downsize for us).

They showed up w five guys all in uniform professional guys not temps w 2 trucks it was the morning after a wet heavy snow storm they showed up 8:55am helped shovel the walk got to work right away loaded up both trucks in 2 1/2 hrs went for a half hour lunch I met them at the new place they unloaded in 2 hrs and the move was done by 2pm.

They were polite curtious and careful with even less expensive furniture and the price was great !

Bottom line these guys were awsome

Made me realize just how badly I was taken for a ride when I used 2 men and a truck 4 years prior who had temps refused to come do an estimate and had to be nudged constantly and cost more then twice as much and were drinking on the job the last few hours all this for the same size load !!!

I just wanted you to know that your team of movers were OUTSTANDING and I am very happy with this service. I am recommending your moving company to all, even my job at WSU that utilizes companies to assist them with their moving needs. I was very impressed at the professionalism and speed that these gentleman worked with at such short notice. I am equally impresesd with the time frame these men got the job completed in. Please express my profound appreciation to these men. Thank you again. You have great workers and you should be very very proud of them!

The two gentlemen who showed up to move my parents were very professional and efficient. They had the entire move completed in about three hours. I already sent a message to their company complementing the company and these two in particular. If I ever have to move again, they will most certainly be getting a call from me. And I will be more than happy to offer them as a referral.

The movers were very efficient and friendly. Although the cost was more than estimated, it was still a lot less than other companies charge. This is just something that should be planned for with any moving company. I highly recommend this company.

I've dealt with other moving companies before and I have to say this was the most worry-free and efficient move I have ever experienced. I appreciate the professionalism and thoroughness of their pick-up and delivery. Everything went smoothly.

These movers were awesome. They were prompt, courteous, hard-working, and thorough. They were also fast completing the move, loading, driving across town and unloading all under four hours. I whole-heartedly recomment O'Sullivan Moving & Storage.

I hired O'Sullivan because they provided me with proof of being fully licensed and insured. I was tempted to go with a cheaper company bc the price sounded good (later found out they were not insured), but then I found out I could be held 100% liable if there were to be an injury on my job or if they damaged anything bc they are not licensed, technically they are not responsible to replace/repair. O'Sullivans was very helpful in providing me with info on how to check with the state to make sure you are hiring a licensed and insured company. On top of being covered, the movers were fantastic. Very pleasant guys and they worked extremely hard. I will refer them to anyone.

The people at O'Sullivan Movers were great from start-to-finish. The moving quotes they gave were spot on and they were even able to accommodate my change to where I was moving. When the truck showed up, they were on the ball and quick. Even with only two guys they were able to move a two-bedroom apartment in under three1/2 hours. I will be using them again for all of my future moves.

This company has excellent services. They were able to move me out of my condo and store my belongings for a couple weeks in their storage facility and then move the items into my new home when it was finally ready. I received excellent rates for my move AND storage. O'Sullivans has such a friendly and courteous staff. They really care!

We planned a move from Michigan to south Florida and Mike O'Sullivan was the best!!! He helped me find a mover that would move our stuff out of state, and was able to give me the name of an air ride truck, equipped with all of the pads, straps, and dollies that we needed, plus a driver to drive the stuff there. Then his company gave me an estimate, loaded my houseful of furniture, plus 2 pianos and my car into the 53 foot moving van, and sent me safely on my way to Florida. We did not have one thing broken, until I dropped something that I was putting away in the kitchen:( They are a great local mover, and can also assist with an out of state move. We had a company unload here in Florida and they did a good job, but O' Sullivans packers were a step above them. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a great mover with great PR skills!

I was a little concerned when the moving company said that they would be there between 9 and 10 AM, and showed up right before 10. However, these guys were so fast, it didn't even matter. Also, the quote I was previously given was 100% accurate. I was very impressed with them, and will use them in the future.

We decided on another company at first when we decided to move. Two days before the actual move they called and told us that an elderly couple needed them to get their belongings out and then they would get to us around 2 pm instead of 8:30 am.



This wasn't going to work out because we had the cable company and the phone company coming out. So we went to our next choice "O'Sullivan Moving". They came early that morning, they were extremely courteous, and not one bump. The amount that we paid was excellent, they tried in every way to have this done the way we wanted it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone at all, they were the best. We were very impressed.

This was my first real moving experience. O'Sullivan was very cordial and helpful in planning my move. I also referred my parents, who had a good experience as well.
