I had some crowns done last December 23, 2014 and my insurance did not cover the entire balance and I put the remaining balance of $820 on Care Credit. Then I found out that too much of the balance was added(0nly $714 should have been put on CC resulting in an overage of $104-which I called office to put through a refund for).
Then last month I received from your office a bill for $149 for cleaning( which actually occurred in Nov 2014) Why was this not billed to Cigna before my crown?.

To add "insult to injury" , I was told by receptionist that I would have to pay the $149 before I could have my teeth cleaned yesterday (3/25). She also said that perhaps I should reschedule my cleaning until I could come up with the amount owed to you. I asked if I could make payments or have that amount put on Care Credit and was told that would not be possible(I am not working and got the impression that you office did not want to work with me on this). I asked receptionist if could speak to office manage or Dr. Kazanis and was given the impression that no one felt the need to resolve this to an equitable solution.

Both my wife and I enjoyed going to the office but the experience yesterday left a "bad taste in my mouth" no pun intended. We have been going to Dr. Kazanis for a while and I just think this latest incident was very demeaning and upsetting.

I LOVE this dentist!!! I've been going to Dr. Kazanis at her old office and at her new office for over 10 years. My whole family has too. I was looking for her office phone number and saw some negative reviews on this site. I totally disagree with these comments. Everyone has their own opinions but these reviews seem fake. All the doctors at the office and her staff are very kind and gentle. I have recommended her and will continue to do so in the future. I'd be afraid to go somewhere else.

Wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciated Dr. Kazanis' help with a lot of big and small dental issues. I needed root canals and crowns as well as some old fillings replaced. I was really worried about cost and pain but the dentist was so kind to me. Honestly, I looked forward to coming in. She helped me get over my fear of the possible pain and I feel so much more confident about my smile now. Her office staff is welcoming and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend her.

Very irresponsible and unprofessional. Knowing we were moving and could not complete complex work, she left my son with 2 temporary fillings. She wanted to refer him to someone else in the office, despite us having told both her and her staff that we are moving more than 500 miles away next week. I was brought back over an hour and a half after my appointment time, despite telling them several times that I needed sedation dentistry and had serious anxiety issues. It was blamed on spending too much time on my son and "another issue" (staff words), which was actually a loud argument between the dentist and a patient's mother with the patient. They are WAY over-booked and do not listen well. Now, we are moving, will have no dental insurance and my son has temporaries that will soon fall out. A major money grab operation.




Dr. Kazanis was very nice when I came in for my visit. Unfortunately, that was about the only good thing about it. I do not have the best teeth in the world and knew I needed a couple of fillings and crowns, but the reason I came in was because I had a bad toothache that needed to be addressed. After coming into the room to examine my teeth, she left but I don't think she realized I could hear her in the other room. She was essentially complaining about me and the other patient currently there because we both needed a decent amount of work done. She was also ridiculing the previous work i've had done in my mouth. I don't recall verbatim what she said but it was basically along the lines of "which is the lesser of two evils? That's the one we'll do today". It was enough to really make a patient feel awful and uncomfortable being there any longer. It was unprofessional to say the least. Instead of tending to the toothache problem that day (the reason I came!), Dr. Kazanis sent me out to the lobby so her secretary (I guess she was too busy to go over it…) could go over a plan with my Mom and I. Money was never discussed, nor was insurance. The shock of what the costs was overwhelming. We both left feeling bad, and my tooth still hurt!

I did not go back to proceed with her "plan" that she could not even go over with me herself. I found a different dentist who is amazing and did all the same work at a fraction of the cost. I will never go back to or recommend Dr. Kazanis!



First of all there is NO PARKI...

First of all there is NO PARKING....they suggest you park at the gas station next door or the strip mall across the street. The office is teeny tiny, with a 70s feel when you first walk in. Each of the exam rooms have been nicely redocorated like a spa... and aroma candles are relaxing. I think Dr Kazanis is a very good dentist, however based on some experiences with staff I would not return. I think talking about other patients in a negative way is unprofessional and makes me wonder what is said about me when I am gone..... Just my opinion
