DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I brought my car here at the end of August, and was quoted over $1,000 to get my struts and sway bar links replaced on both sides, even though only ONE sided needed the work. He then proceeded to break one of my tire studs, did NOT replace it, and DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT IT. I was completely unaware that my tire was missing a stud UNTIL MY TIRE NEARLY CAME OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. Leaving the one stud broken and unsecured caused all the OTHER lug nuts to LOOSEN. What if I had my kids in the car?? We could have been hurt (or worse) because of this! Mark is greedy and neglectful to the highest degree, and I will NEVER bring my car to him again. If you care about your vehicle (and your LIFE for that matter), do not take your car here.
Absolutely atrocious customer service in the service center. I was there for about 30 seconds when the guy locked my keys in my car and wasn't able to get my car til the next morning. When I came back the next morning they told me I'd have to wait at least an hour for the oil change because they had a few people in front of me. I took my car and left. I wouldn't let this place touch my car with a 10 foot pole. I understand mistakes happen and keys get locked in cars but that's ur job, your profession, you should know better. I'm nurse and I'm pretty sure if you came to me as a patient you wouldn't want me making any mistakes like this.
This dealer has the absolute WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I recently brought my car in for repair because I noticed that oil was leaking from beneath the vehicle. They tried three times - unsuccessfully - to repair the leak. The 4th time I took the vehicle in, the service representative called me and explained that their previous repair had somehow damaged another part of the vehicle. He explains further and says that verbatim: "General Motors does not cover this particular part of the vehicle that is now damaged, so unfortunately it's going to cost $270.79 to repair."I immediately requested that I speak with the Service Manager. The service manager tries to give me the run around with a bunch of technical auto terms & is still trying to convince me that I should pay for the part that his technicians damaged during repair in their shop. Basically, he was utterly useless so I asked for the contact information of the District Service Manager - i.e. the next in charge.This gentlemen was understanding and helpful and he told me he would tell the Service Manager that GM was going to pick up half of the bill. He also stated that he would try and get the Service Manager to lower his end of the 50% of the bill. I explicitly stated I did not want to pay for anything until I knew what the final bill was going to be.Fast forward 3 hours. I get a phone call from the dealership telling me that my car is "ready". Realize, I never received a phone call after my call with the District Manager that told me how much I would owe. I get to the dealership to pick up my car and there is a bill of $132.18. You can imagine how upset I am at this point. I start talking to the Service Manager and he basically tells me there is nothing he can do to help me. Their service department is dishonest, expensive, unprofessional, and lacks any integrity whatsoever for their "service". Steer clear of this dealership regarding ANY FORM OF BUSINESS.
When Scott owned this place it was awesome. Now that Mark owns it, it's terrible. Mark is a good mechanic and does get things done in a timely manner, however he does not know how to run a business and does not treat his customers with respect at all, which in my opinion is more important than anything. My roomate has taken her car there a few times over the past year couple years. A couple weeks ago she took it in because it was stalling. He replaced a sensor and that did correct the problem. He said she would need to get her ABS sensor replaced as well before it started snowing otherwise she would be sliding all over the place because she would have no traction (quoted her at $200.) When I dropped it off for her a couple weeks later so he could replace the ABS sensor, the last record he had for her taking her car there was a year ago. He replaced the ABS sensor within 1 business day and when she went to go pick it up she brought her receipt from a couple weeks prior when it was there because it was stalling. He had no explanation as to why that record was not in his computer. He blamed it on me (who had dropped it off) saying I was a moron and that it must have been in someone elses name (he wouldn't say whose name it was in). Mind you the receipt cleary stated her name, phone number, etc with everything spelled/typed correctly. In other words he was quick to blame everything on anyone but himself and was completely unprofessional. He went on to brag about how he has a PHD in mechanics and that his mom was rich and he inheritied all her money when she died. He also charged her $50 more because of his claim that she was never there a couple weeks prior or that "it must have been in someone elses name" and that he never would have told her $200. The guy is a joke and has an ego the size of earth. I would not reccommend taking your car here, but if you must make sure you get and keep your receipt.
They are horrible lying manipulative bastards. I will never go there for anything again. I don't even go there to get my car serviced. The sales reps are liars, the service men are idiots, and all their goal is, is to make a quick buck in their pocket. They don't care about what happens to you when you drive off that lot, or if you can even make it off the lot.
This place is excellent...friendly, polite, and they know what they're doing. No price inflating, they know subarus; the owner owned several over the years. Alternator replaced in several hours. I couldn't have asked for more!!!
I had a bad time at Fischer's Auto Repair, I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. Just needed some simple maintenance done, and the auto shop instead recommended I replace the battery, brake pads, etc on my Honda.Upon picking my vehicle up, I found the radio no longer worked. Now it reads "ERROR," and the wonderful servicemen at Fischer's informed me that they're unable to fix it.Next time, Ill take my car to (any) honda dealership for repair, because the amount of time I've had to spend to remedy their mistake is absolutely unacceptable.You've been warned.
