We came to the Cookout because of the good food at an affordable price. 7 of us spent more than $40. One of my family members and my son being an employee there was standing at the window getting our food and asked the manager Kevin for some sauce. He didn't acknowledge my sons request and proceeded to slam the window in my son and my sister’s face. He returned to the window with drinks and tossed the 2 sauces at my son and slammed the window again. My son politely tapped on the window to ask for more sauces and straws and Kevin put his hand up in my sons face. My son again tapped on the window and stated we purchased 7 trays and needed more sauces. Kevin proceeded to open the window and give him 3 sauces and stated in a rather ignorant tone "have a nice day", slammed the window and I could see him continue to utter words that I could not hear.
First, whatever issues the management has is not the problem of the customer. I feel like we were treated rudely, and the management was completely unprofessional. Second, whatever issues my son and Kevin may have are "work related" and at the time we were there my son was a paying customer just like everyone else.
Finally after this experience I will not be taking my family to this Cookout because of the unprofessional management. If they are willing to treat their employees this way in front of their families, how do they treat them while they are working?
