Never got a chance to visit! Came in with a large party of 50, called ahead to alert them of our arrival days ahead. The two different people I talked to not only seemed disinterested of our business but according to the young giggling and unprofessional person who was allowed to answer the phone UT game visitors are priority. So we took our $1000 visit 2 restaurants away that were very happy to have us.
1. Taco Shack
First tried this place last weekend. Was starving and couldn't decide whether to get 2 tacos or 3. I got 2 and that was a good thing because they were huge. Eggs were done perfectly, thick peppered bacon and delicious salsa. Perfect Taco!
4. Taco Shack
I've worked within walking distance of this Taco Shack for over 3 years. I've visited when I'm crunched for lunch time AND I'm feeling optimistic that, ""SURELY there's SOMETHING on the menu that actually tastes good."" Today I've finally had enough.\r \r Breakfast tacos as well as 'regular' ta…
6. Taco Shack
While their locations seem to work for a lot of people and I love the idea of quick & cheap taco, I have to agree with other reviewers who simply can't believe Taco Shack gets away with operating in Austin. It's all about the food. Although I hear the standard PEB (potato, egg, bacon) taco is …
7. Taco Shack
The Shack Taco: Fluffy eggs, perfectly fried potatoes crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside, spicy chorizo, sprinkled w/ cheddar cheese, all wrapped in a warn flour tortilla w/ a side of their great hot sauce... heaven! My wife & I try to stop in the original location at least twice a week …
The bean and cheese breakfast tacos are sooo good. Tony, the owner, has personally taken care of us every time we go. He's made sure we're satisfied with our order before leaving. Villa Taco Shack is still open although it says it's closed.
A friend who is a local took me here and i hav ebeen back 4 times since... it is awesome good. They dont skimp on the food and even give you free salsa, beans and chips! They are so cheap 4 of us ate for under $20! Cant beat that.
This place is small but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent quality and have tried many items on their menu. I really enjoy the breakfast tacos and take them to work to share. We order out a lot and have tried just about every Mexican restaurant in town. They also have unusual it…
The wait staff @ Los Dos Hermanos is attentive & friendly. If you crave the taste of the freshest homemade corn tortillas in town Los Dos Hermanos is the place to get 'em! Located on the corner of Palm Valley & Sunrise, right next door to 7-11 this is the best neighborhood "hometo…
28. Morelia Grill
Mesa Rosa and Chuys back away, Morelia Grill is AWESOME! From the staff to the food, there is not one thing I can say bad about it! The fajita's are AMAZING! Run, dont walk, and enoy a great meal!
The food is horrible! What more is there to say? I have tried this place twice and I will never go back.
I absolutely love this place! Healthier than any fried chicken ever. Burritos are huge, food is great, and their green salsa super spicy and flavorful. Not everyone has a stomach for spicy food, but if you do, this place is heaven!
This place is small but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent quality and have tried many items on their menu. I really enjoy the breakfast tacos and take them to work to share. We order out a lot and have tried just about every Mexican restaurant in town. They also have unusual items like hibiscus tea and Its GREAT. Don't know any other place that has it on menu.
The only thing good about this place is the salsa, the price is outrageous and the customer service sucks. Even though they charge for extra salsa they won't let you just buy salsa you have to buy their stupid tacos.
So I decided to try this place out thinking it was the old Taco place. The waitress told me that place closed and El Rinconcito opened about a week ago so i decided to try it anyways! And the food was GREAT!!! The menudo is one of the best ive had in the Austin area! Cabrito taco was excellent and the egg, potatoe, bacon and cheese burrito was incredible! We just found our new REAL Mexican food restaurant!!!
Food was ok,the service was ok but it wasn't great. At least the food didn't have roaches like Juarez restaurant and bakery
You would think you would know exactly what to expect from Taco Bell. Wrong! This one was out of beans and rice!!! Trust me - drive the 3 miles to Palm Valley.
salsa was good, the charro beans were good, the Spanish rice was good. the cheese enchilada's - boring. white cheese - flour tortillas - obviously canned red sauce does NOT make a good enchilada. not at all worth the visit - if the best thing you can say is "it wasn't real bad"
We went in there excited to eat because of the reviews and were highly disappointed. The hostess had food on her shirt and was eating in front of everyone. After we were sat someone dropped off chips didn't say hi or greet us nothing! Then we sat there for about ten more minutes and no one ever came to are table and 4 waiters walked passed us and nothing! Wish we had better service, we were excited to eat there.
