SINCE IO'VE BEEN GOING TO HAVE MY PROCEDURES THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY AND WITH HONESTY IS THAT EVERYBODY THERE IS NICE CONCER AND AFTER MY PROCEDURES I CAN'T COMPLAIN I FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON AND FEEL LIKE TAKING ON THE WORLD WHICH I KNOW IT'S A NO-NO CAUSE I DO HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH DR. MARK MALONE AND HIS STAFF I CAN'T COMPLAIN, I HAVE REFFERD MY DAUGHTER I JUST HOPE THEY ACCEPT HER INSURANCE ....
This review is about the billing office not the doctors. Stay away from this facility if you want correct information and proper processing of insurance claims. Procedures were delayed because of misinformation and out and out lies as to the reason for the delays. The insurance company approved procedures but the office said they did not. I could go on and on. Beware.
St David's is one of the most greedy entities in the business of care. (emphasis on business). This review is a my first hand experience of how liability and profit the medical situation is in America even for the well insured. I have already written a 1 star review in 2011 due to my bad experience with their extra bills for my ankle injury and I stand by it. You can read all about it below. I wish I read it before my next visit. I forgot how horrible this place was and it gets worse. Unfortunately, in May 2014 - I dislocated my shoulder on a weekend evening and had no option but to go here. I was in the worst pain of my life walking into the clinic. They wasted about 15-20 mins asking about my height, weight and made me fill out paperwork- as if it matters what my height is to treat my dislocated shoulder. After all this, I was in seething pain, all they tell me is - they are NOT equipped to treat a dislocated shoulder (of course because of liability reasons). All they can do is give me pain killers and REFER me to their precious hospital, where I would again fill out paper work and wait for few hours with a dislocated shoulder. There was absolutely no empathy or concern in any of the nurses, doctors there. They didn't even try or even give me verbal advice. I was like ok, if they dont provide the service -its ok. I will leave. I left with my shoulder hanging from my socket, my friend and I saw a youtube video in their same parking lot and he helped put my shoulder back into the socket. Yes, Youtube - seriously. Youtube was better than those doctors. Anyways, the best part is - 1 month later I receive a $314 bill in the mail. I called and called and called to dispute it- was routed to different hospital billing departments and they told me they will audit the case. Today, after 15 months - I get a call from the collections agency still trying to collect $314. They said, "Hospital believes you owe them as you filled out the paperwork"They are reporting on my credit. Well, even if I go bankrupt or win the lottery - I will never pay the $314. What can I say - DONT go here! Try home remedies, try ayurveda, try yoga, or if nothing works - YOUTUBE. Establishments like this in any other business would go out of business, sadly they take advantage of people's health issues day in and day out and make millions. Shame on you, St. David Urgent care.
Worst experience buying appliances EVER. I ordered my a Samsung Washer and Dryer on 2/10/15. BestBuy website promises a delivery of 2/13/15. I go into the store to check it out. I purchase it from the store. The delivery date is suddenly moved to 2/23/15. TWO WEEKS from the day I order. So here I am today, on 2/13/15 and BestBuy calls me to tell me 30 MINUTES before the delivery to tell me that it is backordered. I even called into BESTBUY to ask if everything is according to the LATE schedule and they SAID YES. WOW. I even checked the automated order status system and everything says yes. NOW TWO WEEKS INTO THE ORDER AND I GET BACKORDERED. I just got off the phone with the local BESTBUY store and they tell me that they are sorry for taking my money, telling me it was in stock, and making my delivery late, and back ordering me and then calling me 30 mins before. So what does BestBuy do? They tell me to come into the store to give me a DAMN GIFT CARD as a REFUND. WOW. That's right. A REFUND in a gift card. Then I am instructed to drive across town to buy from another BESTBUY store. AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WANT TO DO THAT???? I've never heard of a TWO WEEK delivery time.. EVER.. AND THEN MISS THE DAMN DELIVERY. WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. You should change your name.. because it sounds like WORSTBUY right now.
I've been with Dr. Malone and Advanced Pain Care for years. I have always been treated well by everyone there. I've had various treatments and procedures that have helped to decrease my pain. My only negative comment is the turnover rate of PA's.
I love this place! We appreciate each friend, fan and family member we have!
The last mom and pop shop where trusted and loyal customers can still run a tab. If they don't have it...they will find it. Price matching, customized diets for pros and average joes. Truly the first and last place to stop for all things related to sports nutrition. Their smoothies are the best HEALTHY shake in town. Try the Elvis for some Godiva chocolate, PB and banana!
The owner, Bill, of Advanced Electronics is very knowledgeable, straight forward, and honest. He appeared to me to be most interested in helping us fix our TV than in pushing us into a high dollar service charge.We called several places in Austin about problems we were having with our Mitsubishi TV. We got quotes from $350 to $450 to repair the optical unit. Bill at Advanced Electronics told me that probably the problem was the generic lamp we installed. He ordered a certified Mitsubishi lamp, and just in case came to our house with the optic part to install if the lamp did not work. As he predicted, the new lamp worked fine. He charged us the lamp cost and a reasonable service call fee, and that is all.
