Overall

We had a 20 year system replaced with a new system. We had all of the ducting replaced for the system. Texas AC and Plumbing Specialists are the guys we trust. Mark and Brian are very professional and their Technicians display the same professionalism and customer focused attitude.

They worked with us when it came to financing and went out of their way to ensure that we got what we needed. Big thanks for this!

I honestly wouldn't call anyone else. So if you need something give them a call. They'll focus on earning your trust while trying to earn your business.

Great experience

I love TACS for one reason alone. They are not out to get my money by being dishonest. I had another company in town out who also advertises a free service call. They told me by computer board, gas valve, and electric ignition were all bad costing me over $1100 to repair or replace my 6 year furnace for $1500. TACS came out and gave me a second opinion. Low and behold all I had was a bad ignition total repair $150. The other parts were not bad. I asked the tech from TACS if the other company could have misdiagnosed and he said no. That this other company was known for this and he has seen it several times this month. Yea I dont think I will call them again. I will not mentioned the name at the request of the tech from TACS. Suffice to say this is my new company.

Great service!!

I chose to call this company based on the reviews I read on various sites. 99 percent of them were great reviews(via YELP, Yahoo etc.). Not one of the reviews were they came out and did a bad work. Everyone was glowing about their service the bad reviews I could find were only they didnt call me back or email me back. The way I looked at it was heck these guys are busy they cant call everyone back. Well they came out fixed my problem very cheap and were so very polite. I even called the owner and he returned my phone call was very nice. I asked him about bad reviews that were wrote. And he just said sometimes calls come in late at night and can fall through the cracks and that they try their best to get to everyone. I believe him and love his company.

Furnace Repair

I am giving this group 1 star because when I had them come in an emergency this summer, they were awesome! I loved them. I said 'of course I will call them again.' Sadly, I have called twice this week with a furnace problem. I haven't heard a single thing from them. No phone calls, no follow-up, nothing. Meanwhile, it is still cold in my house and the furnace is not working. So, Texas Air Conditioning Specialist, you will not get a third chance at my money.

Horrible, Horrible service!!!

These guys were unbelievable. Giving these guys a one star was extremely generous! Our AC went out on Sat and so we called the receptionist on Sun to have a technician come out to check it out. The receptionist received all of our information and said she would send it to the technician. I told her that we have a woman that is 8 months pregnant here at home and need service tonight so she guaranteed a technician would call us. After two hours of waiting for this technician to call us, I called the hotline number again. A different lady answered only to tell us that they never even had a technician available to come out in the first place. These guys are a real piece of work. Do yourself a favor and never do business with these guys!

Job well done

I had another company out that I will not mention. They told me I had a bad coil. My system was working fine. They came out on a free check up and tried selling me a coil. I called texas ac specialist and they not only did not find the leak or bad coil. They showed me where the other company did not even look. Texas ac specialist saved me a ton of money and I am very grateful. Thanks again and They can put me down as a reference.

Great service

My air conditioner stopped working in jan of all times. Wasnt that hot but I figured I get it looked at now. TACS came out and diagnosed it quickly. Cost me $45 to fix it. And they gave me some really good recommendations for the future. I like the tech, very clean and his vehicle was very clean. I just like the overall feel of this company. I will refer to whomever ask.

Very Affordable

I was very pleased with the service that i recieved from this company! I had three different companys come out to give me an estimate. Texas A/C specialist was at least $1500 cheaper on a complete system. Not only did they have a fair price, but they came out the same day and did the installation the same day. The tech I had was also very polite, and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. I was very please and would recommend this company to anyone!

no show and liars

a tech was to come by for service. no show. called the company and the tech told them no one was home. i sat outside from 7 am to 11 am and no one showed up at all. if i ran a business this way i would be out of business.the tech was to be here between 8 am and 10 am.

A Major Oversight

An employee came out, spent 10 mins with our unit and deemed the compressor faulty. The cost of the replacement would validate purchasing a new unit: guessed to be at $2200. I called to get a second opinion. Another company came out and after 10 minutes, I was told that a wire was burned and there was a bad capacitor. This bill was $200. I saved $2000 by getting a second look at it, and Texas Air Conditioning misdignosed the problem.



I don't think the repair tech was being dishonest. It was just a big miss and would have costed me a lot of money. It might be a fluke, but I still wanted to report it.

Positive Experience

My call was returned in a timely manner. He showed up exactly when he said he would show. He listened to the issue and provided feedback regarding his thoughts as he troubleshot my AC issues. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the replacement part in short order. He had to leave to pick up the part but gave me a estimated return time later that same day. Once again...on time. Installed the part, discussed what was covered under warranty and asked that I call if I have any additional issues. No issues.
