IHOP is one of my favorite restaurants; however, this service is always terrible. Every single time I've gone to this specific location, I get treated with nothing but disrespect.Today especially, I went and the guy gave us our check before we even got our food since his shift was almost over. I would go to this location much more if their service met up to my expectations.
I am a picky eater and I am very pleased with the chicken sandwich they offer on Texas Toast and I am also a big fan of the green bean casserole. I have even used their catering food for Thanksgiving. Delicious meal and nice folks working there.
I enjoy going to Vinosity for their free wine tastings on Saturdays from 3-5. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and their wines by the glass are very affordable. I've very rarely had a glass there that I didn't enjoy.
We make a point to buy organic veggies, milk, meat, etc... Why not have the same high standards for our fast food?! This place rocks! Tasty organic hamburger with a shake made out of REAL ice cream. Satisfied my craviN, but feel good about it! THX TerraBurger!
5. Hoody's Inc
We had a friend suggest Hoodies to us after we moved to Texas. WOW!!!! His food is great. Always fresh and they are not afraid to load up your Hoagie. I have recommended this to several friends and they also love it. Try it out, you will not regret it.
God Bless Rita's Restaurant!!!! I'm so glad I found them in Austin. Im a Mexican woman from Monterrey, Mexico, I have move in to Austin since 4 months ago. And After eating in Chuys, Gueros, Trudys and all the so called ""Mexican Food Restaurants"" which for me they are more like Tex-Mex food re…
7. Triumph Cafe
This place is great for lunch or dinner if you just want a bowl of Vietnamese soup and a great spring roll. I've actually ate both inside and outside and I much prefer to eat inside. Sometimes during the week, the lunch crowd can be crazy and it can be hard to find a seat--but the food is fantas…
We have been a customer since day 1. I am a big fan of the Apple Danish, Sticky Bun and Schneken sorry about the spelling. On our way right now for breakfast. Chuck and Seven are really great guys. Upper Crust you rock.

Hands down, this place clearly allows consumers to make healthy choices. For those nutrition conscious eaters, calories shown on menu is huge!! The food is even better! Welcome to Austin Corner Bakery!
12. Cafe Java
I highly recommend having a good homestyle breakfast at Cafe Java. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and they were fantastic. The coffee is ground on the premises and you can taste the difference. I plan on returning very soon and trying thier Homemade hash.
13. Cafe Java
Cafe Java looks like just a regular diner - and in the end, that's exactly what it is. The key to this place's awesomeness is that it does every single thing RIGHT. First off, the establishment itself. Smart (and convenient) location, since Northwest Austin doesn't have a ton of good local eate…

Note that they're closed for remodeling and will probably reopen the first week of Feb, 2009.\r \r I've been to moody's for breakfast and dinner and it never ceases to amaze me. The breakfasts are amazing, nice thick bacon, properly cooked eggs (not swimming in grease like some breakfast places)…
The ambiance was nice and the service was very good, too. We had the zucchini chips (excellent) for an appetizer and the (amazing) goat cheese and fig pizza. The cost for both of those during happy hour was only about $10! Will DEFINITELY go back.
One of the best restaurants in the nation. Delicious mexican food from all the regions serve with old world superb customer service in a beautiful restaurant. Reservations are must .
The atmosphere here suits me very well, as it is eclectic (with a funky southwestern vibe) and comfortable. Makes a great 'third place' to hang out (besides @ home & work). There is some outdoor seating on front & back porches.\r \r I especially enjoy the soy chai and pacha lattes, but the fru…
30. Arpeggio Grill
My mother and I eat at Arpeggio at least once a week, but usually more. The restaurant is owned by a nice man and is operated by him, his sons, sister and a few others. They even know where I like to sit and it is like a second home. The buffet is surprisingly fresh and is usually available fr…
