Not Happy here at all. I get that people are busy..but when you have a job to do, do it. These people do NOT do their jobs at all. Half the time, they're not even in their office and when they are there, they never answer phone calls, never respond to messages, and never fix anything in a timely manner. They are very understaffed, which needs to be addressed. Waiting 2 weeks for someone to fix the A/C, locks, and your broken toilet seat (no joke), is NOT okay. They need to hire maintenance guys to do their jobs.The quality of the apartments are not good either. Rent is cheaper than most places in the Austin area, but still not worth it. Because you're living in such a low-class, old, run-down apartment complex, it definitely isn't worth anything over 700 per month. We are paying almost 900...and we have nothing but issues. Mold, Roaches, Smell of Pot any time we walk outside at night, trash everywhere, broken appliances, ect.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. When I first moved in there were tons of broken appliances, roaches, and other screwed up stuff. It took multiple work orders, phone calls, voicemail's, emails, ect. to get them to do anything at all. Meghan is the apt manager and is very rude and unhelpful. She doesn't seem to like her job and she seems to get irritated when we call for a work order.The drive way is really messed up with pot holes that people mess up their cars all the time. Laundry facility sucks and machines hardly work. There are no washing machine hook ups either, which is very inconvenient. This place is very ghetto and it's not something I would recommend to anyone.
Horrible apartment buildings, management, maintenance, and everything else in between!When we first moved in there were so many things messed up! ROACHES, Broken garbage disposal, leaky faucets, broken dishwasher filled w/standing water and tons of bugs, lights out, horrible paint jobs, broken closet door that broke my toe when it fell on me in the middle of the night, ect. All of these things had work orders placed about them, but it still took them over a week to get them fixed.Everything that maintenance does is shabby and not a long term fixed. When he fixes things, they stay fixed for about 3 days then you'll have to call again to get them fixed...but then that makes all the management and maintenance mad...? I guess they don't like doing their jobs.Meghan is the head manager and she is horrible. Very rude and unprofessional. None of the management answers the phones or ever responds to emails/voicemails. They are all very rude and do NOTHING.
If you are Vietnamese, don't live here. They will send a Vietnamese woman - Minh - to talk to you. She is very rude, aggressive, and bossy. She demands you many things which are not in the contract because she thinks you don't know English and she wants to show she is a big boss, you are a low class person who is getting a favor from her to stay in this place. This place does illegal surveillance on its residents. When asked the management we were then promptly asked to leave the property without cause. They stated that "cops" do random surveillance on its residence. Im no convicted felon so that wasn't a good answer. This place is also infested with rats. No lie rats the size of a cats. I wish no presence on this property to anyone who would decide on living here.
We have lived at the landing for a year and a half and will be staying here until we purchase a home. I love the town home style and spacious floor plans. Their office staff is friendly and caring and are not just there to rent the apartment and then not care if you are happy like other apartments do. When they say they hold get together/social activities, they actually do! About once a month. There are 3 pools, 2 bar style hot tubs, basketball court, tennis court, putting green, pool tables, gym, theater, and a plays-cape so there is always plenty of things to do. If you go here ask for Michelle or Tabitha :)

In looking at a few of the other reviews, I guess this is warranted. Must have new management, because I enjoyed the last time I was there and was looking forward to a reason for another visit. The three of us ordered two soft drinks, a pulled pork sandwich, cheeseburger and a Frito pie. Drinks came out immediately and waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was busy and we did realize there would be a wait; however, there is no excuse for an order taking close to an hour to come from the kitchen. There was a table next to us who were seated about twenty minutes after we arrived. They received there order within 10 minutes of their order which included (you guessed it) a Frito pie and a cheeseburger. The entire time I was waiting for my food, the waitress never offered to fill my wife's and daughter's drinks. We asked for a refill once: however, it never came. I couldn't wait any longer as we had plans to meet people and I didn't want be late so I went up to the bar and told the bartender I would pay for my two drinks, and that I had to go. She very rudely told me it was $4.00 and I handed her a $5.00 she slammed the register drawer and threw a dollar bill in my direction. The waitress came back and said you can't take it with you to go. In the restaurant's defense there was a large "Chalk Walk” street festival which meant the restaurant was considerably more crowded than normal. However, I would have expected the manager to beef up staffing for this weekend as it is an annual festival that draws a large crowd. This would have been the second time I have eaten at this restaurant, the first time the service was OK, but the food was really good. This time the bartenders customer service was inexcusable, the waitress was substandard. I did talk with the FOH manager and received a half hearted apology with the comment that the waitress should have told you it would be a wait. She did offer some free coupons for another visit; however, I declined as this was my last visit.
