I had a couple of recall issues with my 2006 Cobalt and this location was specifically stated as my "local dealer" that could handle the problems. One of them was for an ignition switch recall. The notice clearly stated "Reserve a complimentary loaner vehicle, if you need one." My second recall issue was for fuel leaking. Not only was I refused a loaner vehicle, they denied that my car qualified for the fuel leakage recall. I called up the company customer service hotline (1-800-222-1020) to confirm if my second recall issue was valid or not, and it was (recall #12191 - spotting or leaking of fuel). My company representative called up Mauer Chevrolet in Inver Grove Heights and set me up there instead. It was an issue with my gas tank leaking (cracked gas tank, typical in Cobalts). Not only was I set up with a swank loaner vehicle from the start, they ordered me a brand new gas tank and let me keep the loaner vehicle for a week while they were waiting on my new tank to be delivered. They also did a complimentary safety inspection on my car and offer free car washes once one's vehicle have been serviced. All of this was free of charge at Mauer and Rosedale wouldn't even give me a loaner vehicle. Mauer are aces at taking care of their customers, and I found them to be very honest. Take your Chevrolet there for long term care instead. Rosedale will never get any of my future business and I will let my friends, family, and co-workers know to avoid them as well.
