My husband and I were very disappointed with Brigantine. We wanted a romantic date night and heard this place was fabulous, so we made a reservation for Saturday night and drove almost 50 minutes to get here. Parking was ridiculous, come prepared to park on the street... the "parking lot" is incredibly small and PACKED. Once we got inside the restaurant the hostess made us wait for almost 20 minutes even though we had reservations. When we finally got to our table we had to sit in a dark corner near a window looking into a sketchy alley. Not quite the romantic evening we envisioned. Our service was slow and the food was bland. I've had better seafood pasta at the Olive Garden. We practically had to yell in each others ears to speak to one another because it was so ridiculously loud in there. Definitely won't be coming back here again.
Three of us went there to dine on 1/24/2016, all of us ordered something different, I ordered the Shrimp in garlic butter sauce, my husband got the Calamari and our daughter ordered the Snow and King Crab mix, our daughter loved the crab legs, my husband said his Calamari was tough and rubbery, my shrimp was like mush, you bite into them and it was like eating shrimp flavored mush with a garlic butter sauce,
when you eat at Truluck's you're not just having dinner, it is an entirely different experience... not only will you be sampling the finest Seafood you have ever tried but the service staff will make your dining experience entertaining and pleasurable with their professional expertise. They have South African Lobster, the Rolls-Royce of lobsters! So good!!!
Being from out of town I went looking for some great fish at a major restaurant near Mitch's, but it was closed by 7. I am so glad it was! Mitch's was open and hoppin inside! I had three different tacos: grilled shrimp, fried cod, and grilled halibut. It was a delicious platter for a reasonable price. Service was friendly. Glad I found this hidden gem.
If you are hanging out at either Pacific or Mission Beach in San Diego and you want to enjoy a good steak, burger, salad or adult beverage, Saska's will hit the mark. You will be in the company of lots of locals - especially after sunset.
Amazing selection of fresh seafood (literally brought in straight off the local fishing boats). It's prepared fresh when ordered and was so good! Lovely outdoor seating area where you can watching the boats in the marina.
This is a must go to for the best fish sandwich in all of San Diego.. They have enlarged the eating area to accommodate the crowds. Parking is a bit difficult but they have an attendant that keeps everyone moving...
Came in for the 1.00 oysters n happy hour. Small oysters, small happy hour portions for out group of 7 people. Not a busy place but we waited a while on refills. Good music. We're heading to a game, hope it's fun
Not a destination dining place but if you are here if not too bad.I had two appetizers for my lunch: Ahi Poke Tacos and Ceviche: the tacos were delicious but the Ceviches was only shrimp Baer and kind of boring.
Love the food! Ribs are outstanding, chips and dip are addictive, homemade soup was filling after a wet sail! The staff are amazing and the owner will bend over backward to make his guests happy!
