I had heard my sister in Colorado rave about Hobby Lobby for years, so I was thrilled when one came to Roseville. I love the wide variety of products they carry, and the fact that there is almost always a weekly coupon in the newspaper. I recently went there looking for a particular brand and color of embroidery floss that I needed to complete a dresser scarf that my mother had started many years ago--probably before 1955. The thread company went out of business years ago, so I was afraid I was out of luck. However, a staff member was able to help me, so now I will be able to complete Mom's item.
We have done business with Bill for many years and he has always been an honest professional who treats us like the friends we have become over the …
We have bought several items at Railroad Hobbies over the year, e.g. when our son had to do a model of the La Purisima Mission, which was a working farm, we bought little farming figures for his model--they were the perfect size. Just recently, my husband needed some small brass screws, nuts, and washers to rebuild the speedometer on his antique car. When we went in, we not only got greeted by store personnel, but were promptly taken to the area that stocked the needed parts, and even received help matching parts my husband already had. We got lots of help for relatively inexpensive items.
This is the store I can walk around in for hours! It is the girl version of Home Depot. It has a little bit of everything to help the inside (or outside in someways) of your home adorable, the parties amazing, cake and cupcake decorating, invitation making, scrap booking and the holidays grand and festive and seriously so much more! Make sure to find the 40% off coupon off one full price item all the time!
I got lost in a time warp today in hobby lobby. ...for over two hours! They have EVERYTHING! I was able to purchase a couple bday gifts, fall decorations AND Christmas ornaments. In one store. And much of it was 40% off. Always a great deal. And my cashier was very friendly and he wrapped all my breakables individually. Will definitely go back for both the wide selection AND the great customer service!
Love that I can get everything I need in one stop, however, the customer service is poor. The lines are always long, the cashiers are always talking to each other instead of paying attention to the customer, and I am never asked if I need help. This is why I gave them a 4 star instead of 5. This needs work. But all in all, I like Hobby Lobby and the variety of goods I can purchase there.
If you go into Hobby Lobby.....plan to stay for a long time and spend money! They have great deals on holiday specific items and they have the best selection to choose from. Their fabric department is very nice as well. If you have a craft in mind, this store will have what you need. Don't forget to bring your coupons, it could save you 40% each trip.
Love this store! Great stuff and friendly staff! Went in there looking for something specific, was happy with the amount of stuff. I didn't like how they have to enter the sale price per item. It took longer than usual to check out and you really need to watch the item price. Other than that great store.
Least inexpensive craft store in the area the staff is not too friendly though but the price makes up for lack of outgoing personality. Small chalkboard sells out quickly so if one is needed for school projects or special pictures make sure to order early. Great selection of items.
I love going here to see all the holiday decorations! The prices are great and they always have something on sale! They have a 40% off coupon every week to use on anything at regular price. It's nice that they will take the coupon code right from your phone. Great place to shop!
Paradise for those of the crafty variety, but a little overwhelming to those who only own 2 pairs of scissors. Looking for packs of construction paper I was instructed that they would be in the "art department," which was not helpful to me. I did find what I needed though.
