I was a first-time customer to Ewing who was beginning a project and made roughly a $500 purchase, and I was likely going to be purchasing a great deal more products for years to come. I had to return one item (6 days later) and it cost about $35 in restocking fees. This experience left me quite upset as a customer who doesn't expect to get charged so much to return one item, so I called and spoke to a manager. Unfortunately, the manager was not interested in providing immediate resolution, and wasn't interested in retaining future business. Considering that there is another irrigation store right around the corner (quite literally), I was surprised that they were more interested in keeping one inflated restocking fee than earning thousands in future business. I believe the decision not to provide immediate customer satisfaction was short sighted. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.
