I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to write this review but it's way overdue.I've been banking with First Bank for almost 10 years now and I have to say - this bank is EVERYTHING a bank should be. I used to bank with the big banks and all I ever was is an account number, at First Bank they actually get to know you and you them. And imagine this: you can actually call the branch and speak directly to a REAL PERSON! Unheard of these days (which I try not to do too often, after all, they are working and I don't want to abuse this).A couple of years ago someone stole my checkbook and wrote $2,000 worth of checks. I caught it at 4pm and called them. They jumped right on it and actually called the Federal Reserve clearing center and had the checks stopped. If they hadn't done this I would have lost the money (check aren't like credit cards, once they've cleared the money is gone).I've used many banks before, both for personal and for business, and this is the best bank ever. Tell Steve, the Branch Manager, or Kamal, the Operations Manager I sent you, lol.
Although I dislike Bank of America and have had numerous issues with them and all the different departments that mist be reached over the phone, this branch and the staff were polite and professional and helped me to the best of their knowledge and ability and returned phone calls quickly. So as for this branch they are great and the location and staff also.
We do banking for personal use and also for the local school booster club. The tellers at this bank a bit slow, but they never make you feel rushed if you have questions or need some help filling out forms. The location is a bit tough to access and the parking lot isn't very good.....but overall I recommend this bank for any type of banking.
We went into this branch to gather financial information. We were seated for only a few minutes when we were helped. The information we needed the Officer didn't know so she made the phone call to find out. I tried doing this online and by phone, but was told it would take an hour, by going into the branch I saved myself valuable time.
I had banked with Wells Fargo years ago and they closed my account in error. I hadn't known so I was bouncing checks and had insufficient funds go through, when I asked if they could contact my creditors to fix the problem they were not helpful at all. They lost my business.
US Bank (inside the Safeway store at Sunrise & Cirby) went out of their way to make sure everything was set up properly when we recently opened a new account for a family member. There were some complications and they steadfastly worked through them to help us.
The tellers at US Bank inside Safeway are so professional and always try to get us through as quickly as possible without rushing us out. They seem to realize their customers are usually in a time crunch and work efficiently with top notch customer service!
I opened an account with Chase when I purchased my car. It was part of the financing they set up. I was not thrilled about it at the time, but since I have been banking with them their customer service has been excellent! I do recommend Chase Bank!
I have to be honest. I am not a fan of Wells Fargo. Our account was hacked 4 times. They were never forthcoming when we inquired about why this kept happening. I found that the turn over was very high and we always had to deal with some one new.
I find banking at River City Bank the way to go where can you go to the bank 7 days a week the branch manager Carol and her staff are are very friendly and help with your banking needs not to mention they're located in the Bel Air Shopping Center
