Overall

I was part of a large group reservation on 3/18/17 and had an awful experience. The reservation was for 35 people at 6pm. 35 people did not show up and a few of us were late. However, the table we were given was not able to accommodate the 24-25 of us that did show up, let alone 35. So when we tried to speak to the manager about the issue with the seating, he was very rude and told us that we should not have been late and that's why you make reservation. The last person in our party arrived at 620 pm and at that time we were still trying to get extra chairs to accommodate the people who were there already. Restaurant staff bought out chairs and sat them in the aisle for us to figure out, there were not enough plates (for the 25 people that showed up and the reservation was for 35!!!). The server was rude and flustered. She clearly needed help but had none. Some people asked for second round of drinks and never received. I asked for miso soup instead of the mushroom soup and she gave me mushroom soup anyway. If this had not been in honor of my family member coming home from serving this country in the Marines, I would have left before ordering one item!!! The overall tone from the staff was very condescending and nonchalant as well as blatant impatience and rudeness. The chef, however was good. That's the one good thing I have to say about my experience. Unfortunately, it is not enough to bring me back to this establishment. I will be sure to rate you on yelp as well. And of course I will tell other friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances about my experience at kabuto.

Overall

Thank you writttend this ad let me have chance to explain.first, at lastnight,you (or you friend),had sitting at bar look the menu,then go to make order,the menu was very clear say each hibachi order come with vegi, noodle,shrimps and rice.if you have shellfish allergy, before you make order,why you don't mention hostess,I think most peoole have any food allergy,go to any restaurantto to order food, must be mention restaurant first ,if you don't tell,how do we know? foods not the clothing or appliances,it's can't be replacement ,if you say the shrimps touching the chicken,maybe we can just made another side order chicken for you,but you say you want to make another whole order ,sorry ,we can't,because we did not make mistake.if we made any mistake,we so happy to solve the mistake,I have comfused,why not our mistake,we have to be responsible??? I never said I don't care if you don't eat here again.only you said if you don't make another order ,you will be rating on facebook,then I said if you do this way make you feel better ,I have no idea ,because this is our restaurant policy.we only use top quality ingredients to serve our customer,that's why we need to comply with our policy.But anyway,I still to appreciat you business,If you will come back to our restaurant ,we so happy to serving you,thank you.

Overall

The service we received from the manager at this location was horrendous! I made a carry-out order of a shrimp hibachi dinner and 2 chicken hibachi dinners, well they don't mention that a sampler of shrimp comes in each meal. This is horrible news to my shellfish allergic spouse, who could expire from shrimp being ingested. Well we get the food home and make the discovery, so I call the restaurant back to alert them of the mistake and let them know I'll be making the trek back to get a replacement chicken dish sans shrimp, the hostess on the phone says fine. But alas, the hostess calls me back and tells me her manager says they can't replace it for free because when I initially ordered, I didn't state there was a shellfish allergy. He also said I don't care if you don't eat here again, really sir?! Why should I have to do this? I mean really, if I ordered chicken only, would you add shrimp just for S&G's, really it was hidden in there too, what if he had eaten it without the knowledge, he could have died!!! I let the manager know he was wrong and I also forewarned him that I would be writing not 1 but many scathing reviews for his callous treatment. Not to mention the fact that we eat out sometimes 4-5 times per week (shame on me, I don't cook, judge me now) and we are excellent customers and tippers, they'll never see another dime from us or our friends/family if I have anything to do with it.
