Up until February of this year i had a family doctor at Harbin Clinic. He had been my doctor since 1999. His office always contacted me somehow and told me to make a appt if he needed to change my meds by for some reason they didn't this time and i didn't know it. So i was going to physical therapy and it was on a Friday and i only had a few pills left and it was past time to get them filled but when i called the pharmacy the told me i couldn't get them filled that it was a 2 month supply. I was shocked because no one told me so i hurt so bad over the weekend and i was so hateful to my family and my boyfriend. I got on the phone with my doctors office and i done this all the next week trying to figure out what happen and all they kept saying was it was a two month supply so i made a appt but before that i was crying, confused and hurting because i never had any trouble with my doctor before this. So i was upset of course and sent a message and just told them to take all my pills cancel all my appt if they was going to do me like that because i didn't ask for any of this in my life. When i got to his office that day and got called back then my doctor came in and told me He couldn't see me anymore. Well i cried and begged him because i didn't even know why this happen. He dropped me that day and i had to come off some strong meds cold turkey and nobody will see me now because of all my medical problems. My life is so bad i cry all the time and when i finally got help at highland rivers they put me on four pills for my nerves and it has made me gain 30 lbs and i can't hardly breath. I was eating even less after i lost my doctor so i know it was those meds because i didn't start gaining weight til i started the meds. My life is at stake can't somebody do something please. Help Me please!
Terrible service! They can't locate my paperwork plus I was told to just come in to get set up with a cpap but now I'm told I have to have an appointment. I'm the one that can't breathe at night and they just want to keep dragging it out.
WARNINGIf you are in need of an ambulance, please hear my story. We needed an ambulance back in Feb. as my husband broke his hip. I called 911 and Redmond responded. The paramedics did a great job, and I thank them for that. When we got the bill, I couldn't believe my eyes 2,032. of which we owe 654. after insurance. I thought there was a mistake so I asked for an itemized bill. The charges were base emergency call 1296. and for the 16 mile trip 736. That is 46.00 a mile, folks!!!I called Floyd hospital and talked with their ambulance department. Their base for the call is 990. and 15.60 a mile a difference of 792.40.So here is my warning. For those of us on SS. this 654. is a big chunk, I called Redmond and told them what Floyd had said and they informed me "They do not Price match".So please if you need an ambulance, be careful who you let respond. As for me if I need one again it will be Floyd.
I have seen Dr.Nok for about 4 years and he is a very caring dr. Kathy Millsap
