Discovery World Infant Center & Preschool

Our son has been at Discovery World a little over year and a half and we have been very impressed. Discovery World uses Tadpoles as one way to keep us up to date with what our son is doing daily. Tadpoles is a service to share pictures/videos/comments with parents which my wife and I found to be fun and very helpful. The teachers would also meet with us periodically to give us an idea of what to expect at different ages. All of his teachers as well as the administrative staff have been great, caring, and communicative.



The school name is fitting as they have the kids use their different senses to experience all sorts of things that I would never have thought of. They also use sign language which was helpful with his communication at home at a young age and it still comes in handy. We are constantly amazed with the vocabulary he brings home. Our son has grown leaps and bounds and we think this school has really helped him.

My pre-school age son and toddler daughter have been going to Discovery World full time for a year and a half now and we could not be happier. My daughter started at 6 months old and may son at 3 yrs. To see how much they have both grown and learned so much with the help of the Discovery World staff has really been a delight. They both love their teachers (they have both rotated into new classes as they got older and had very easy transitions as they move up with their friends and the teachers cross over a bit so they all know all the kids already) and are always excited to go to school every morning. We've been really happy especially with our older son and his pre-K/kindergarten prep. He is writing, reading and counting and he still has another year until he starts kindergarten! We also really enjoy the curriculum that teaches the kids all about other countries and cultures. Very unique, especially at this age. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality daycare!

My toddler son loves going to Discovery World! The teachers are wonderful, and the curriculum is very enriching. I love the monthly Around-the-World learning themes. The children have “traveled” to Argentina, Korea, Great Britain, China, Spain - even the lunch menu is coordinated to the theme! If you want your child to have a well-rounded education and a global perspective at an early age, then Discovery World is the place to be!

Furthermore, Discovery World will email you Daily Reports of your child’s progress, which includes photographs and videos taken from that day. It is exciting to be able to see firsthand the activities and learning that occurs in the classroom. My child has been surprising me on a daily basis with the things that he has learned, including knowing all the colors in sign language!

The classrooms at Discovery World are very clean. There is also a very secure check-in system which is fast and efficient. We even get reports about the air quality in LA!

Discovery World has perfected the childhood educational experience, and I give it my highest recommendation!

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel towards Discovery World .... Under your leadership, he blossomed. He learned that he can trust others beside his parents. He learned how to have friends and be a friend. He learned how to share his thoughts and ideas. Most of all, he gained a tremendous amount of confidence that will be a great foundation for his success in education and life.

I have had 3 children in this school ffrom 3 mos to 5 1/2 yrs. Wonderful caring staff low ratios. They really care aboout the development of your child. the weekly lesson plans keeps the parents informed on what your child is doing daily.
