They told me if I switched plans it would save me $40... so I switched.. it dropped $6? I told her what happened to $40, all she said was "I guess not". I pay almost $80 for what she said was their fastest.. um, it never works? I have called them 4 times now in the last 7 months that it does not work. They tell me the modem/router is old. I told him no, they have been out to change it 3 times in the last 7 months... and he said oh well that is what is wrong with it.. you must have someone go out there to look at it, we charge a $90 fee. HELLO, I am going to pay to have them fix something their problems? It is not my fault they have awful service. DO NOT go to cox.
I am VERY disappointed in my Internet service. They have raised the rate $10 in the past year so I am now paying $72.99 for crappy service. It is slow and they are constantly offering faster service if I pay more. Then on random days, like right now, the Internet goes out with no warning, no explanation, etc. The local shop is no help. It's DAYS before they come out to service anything - even when the entire neighborhood is out! I am looking into other sources for my Internet service. Not happy with Cox at all.
Stay away from Cox Communications in Rogers AR. When I signed up I signed up for the cheapest package. They kept charging me for a more expensive package even though we went over it in person. It took 3 separate trips to the cox store to get it straight. They kept telling me it was corrected but when I get the bill they would still have me signed up for a more expensive package. After 3 trips they finally got it correct. That was at the beginning of 2012. Since January 2012 when I finally got the best price package of $33.99 they have raised the price 3 times and now am getting billed for 48.99 Nov 2013. They are crooks and only care about money. I wish there were another cable company I could switch to because I do not want to do business with them any longer.
