My wife asked for a Pizza Inn pizza instead of Pizza Hut. I gave in to her request. We paid $18 and change for a large thin & crispy supreme pizza.Into my 2nd slice, my molars crunched on something foreign.I pulled the slice out of my mouth and then spit out a huge cheese-matted clump of hair. The clump was at least 3 inches long and as thick as my little finger. We took the remaining pizza back along with the clump of hair.At Pizza Inn, I asked to speak to the Manager.I opened the pizza box and showed the Manager the clump of hair.I was not joyful; however, I kept my statements civil and never raised my voice.I suggested to the Manager that he needs to review the use of hair nets.He very adamantly stated that this hair did not come from his restaurant. He stated that none of his workers have hair like the clump; I could easily see 3 candidates within my eye-sight at that very moment. The Manager would not own this situation. He never apologized.I demanded a refund; after minutes of his handling the clump of hair, he gave me my refund. No apology was offered. No ownership of the mishap was taken. We will never patronize Pizza Inn again.I am very disgusted and angry.I do have a digital photo of the cheese-matted clump of hair.I will share the photo.
After ordering from them online, we were told that they don't deliver to our area. They always have in the past. They wouldn't refund our money. We had to go pick it up. Never did get our delivery fee refunded. Hope they enjoy the money.
My husband ordered an "Everything Monster" to be delivered to our home for me. When I got home, I was very disappointed. The toppings on the pizza were very meager and sparse, but because I was hungry, I ate all but one and 1/2 slice. It felt like I was eating only bread. My husband called the manager to complain to no avail. The manager made no effort to try to appease us even though we have been loyal customers for years and never complained before this incident. I then tried to talk to the manager. He stated that his driver said that the pizza looked "OK" whatever that means. He asked if I wanted to talk to the driver. I said, "No, you're the manager." The manager stated that there was nothing he could do. This lengthy conversation was going nowhere. I told the manager there was no need to continue this conversation as I was getting upset at his nonchalant and uncaring attitude. I then proceeded to call the "Question/Comment" line.
They have good pizza, IMO. I started eating Papa John's because they say the pizzas are made with zero trans fat, and I quickly realized they're also tasty. I don't work there; I just want to give a positive review. :)
The best since I left DC.
