I am insured. I came to this website to get the phone number of Watson Eye Associates.
After reading these reviews, Yes Indeed I plan to find another Surgeon!!!
If it were just 2 complaints, I'd over look it.
I wonder if Dr Susan Watson is aware of how bad her staff treats the Clients??????
I may give her a Call myself!

Well I am on Medicare and paid $83.72 on my first visit which makes office visit over $400 which I think is ridiculous. I am going to have cataract surgery so had to go to ophthalmologist but the cost is horrible. They told me office visit was $200+ but reality is over $400!!WOW

Watson Eye Associates should be avoided at all costs. At my first eye appointment I was essentially accused of lying about the difficulties I was experiencing with my contacts. When I tried to change brands because the one the doctor recommended didn't work, I was given the ring around. And when I was trying to order my new contacts the optical department was impossible to reach. I must have called them about a dozen or more times to try to place an order. By the time they got around to returning my call they couldn't guarantee delivery by the time I needed and then they caused me even more difficulty when I requested a copy of my own prescription so I could order them from another source. This place seriously has the worst customer service I've ever experienced, is totally unnaccomodating, and honestly, is just full of a bunch of jerks. You'll save a lot of headache and time going literally anywhere else.

This is a really horrible place. It deserves a star rating of about minus one million. It is obvious that the staff care more about eachother than the patient. The only positive thing I have to say is that the tech and the regular opthalmologist were very nice and competent. But it ends there. On our first visit, the billing person tried to tell us we had to pay 40% of the bill that day, and we knew for a fact that this was extremely incorrect. She checked it again and came back very embarrassed to say she was wrong. On the second visit, I came up to the counter and three employees were there talking to eachother and they completely ignored me. I finally gave up and went and sat down. Another lady went up to the counter, and they ignored her too for a few minutes also, but finally talked to her. On that visit I saw a specialist, and she was very rough and was really hurting me. I finally told her she had to stop the exam. On the third visit I sat next to a lady who told me that her tech was very impatient with her when she was asking questions, and it really upset this lady. During this visit, my husband had an exam to get a pair of bifocals. At the end of the visit, he told me the bill was going to be $125.00. I had just gotten a pair of glasses from Doctors Vision Center (very nice people there) and it only cost me $25.00. I went to tallk to someone about this bill to see why it was so much more, and the associate was not very nice. Next, her supervisor came out with an attitude. I tried to find out why the bill was so much more expensive, and she told me that they only carried premium products. Her attitude was so bad that I never got find out about the bill. I asked for her supervisor. Her supervisor wasn't any better. I was very upset and I was crying, and she wasn't sympathetic at all. This supervisor finally admitted that they did have less expensive frames, but she wasn't forthcoming concerning the bill either. I asked for the first supervisor to apoligize to me for treating me so badly, and the second supervisor told me she wasn't going to do that. I don't know what happened to the Customer is Always Right, but it definitely doesn't apply here. We cancelled his glasses order and any future appointments, and we left. It was an all around really terrible experience.

I have never been so disappoin...

I have never been so disappointed with any doctor's office as I have been today. I was humiliated twice bye their check out clerks. The doctor did pretty much nothing in the exam except check my son's optic nerve, an assistant did the rest. Then they try to charge me for a medical appointment when it was just a routine eye exam. I guess that is why they asked about headaches 3-4 times, to get more money out of the appointment. It was completely ridiculous, I have never had such a horrible experience with any doctor's office!
