We have used JG Landscapes for almost 8 years. Carlos and Monica run a great business. The yard crew shows up every week...same day...same time. They are great with my dogs and my yard always looks wonderful. Carlos recently fixed a large problem with our sprinkler system. JG goes above and beyond to make sure we are pleased and our yard looks great. Their professionalism and promptness is always appreciated.

The owner, Carlos, is rude and disrespectful. After emailing him three times over a month-long period to request the weeding of my front beds, I followed up with a phone call only to have him raise his voice angrily and lie that his crew had already weeded, when indeed, they had not. When I asked him to please lower his voice and change his aggressive tone with me, he cancelled all future service and hung up. Luckily, my husband had already lined up another service because he had been concerned about Carlos' questionable behavior; that kind of attitude is not something any customer should have to put up with, especially in this day and age. Buyer beware.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Not sure why previous reviews give him 5 stars but a bad review... Anyway, he is a crook, doesn't pay the people that work for him. Maybe his prices might be cheap if you're hiring him, but just keep in mind that he keeps all the money and doesn't pay the people that do the work.I don't understand how they can still be in business if they keep operating like this.I would never recommend him to work for, or to use for services.
This company is a horrible company to do work for. My husband worked with this company and they would pay cash. All of a sudden they decided to pay by checks which is kool but they decided to put a different last name that is clearly not my husband's last name. Then when he was able to cash the check the bank said there was no money in the account. School is about to start and we can't even finish getting our son what he needs for school, we don't have any groceries in our house to even feed our son. David Clarke is a snake, liar and a theif. My husband works VERY hard for this company and they can't even afford to pay there men. So now were speaking with a lawyer to see what we can do cause this is now twice that he couldn't get paid that is almost $2000 dollars that are family has to go with out cause this company is just full of bs.!
Don't take the risk. MY experience was that the "Lasting Impression" was paying to replace dead trees and plants, and trees that were warrantied for a year. When the trees died, where was Harold?? WHO KNOWS!!! Wouldn't return calls (over a 2 month period, I called probably 15 times), and did not fix the leaking, nonfunctional sprinkler system he installed. I've spent thousands of dollars fixing his shoddy work.
Is it odd that the 5 star rating below is from HaroldJ??Harold Jones is a fraud. The job he did on our house was planted with plants too small, withered and died in he following months. This went on for several replanting of our landscape. A year and a half later, the plants still have not matured even under his guidance. Our sprinkler system he installed has required multiple head replacements due to inferior product installed. Overall, lasting impressions has made a lasting impression of horrible professional service and terrible work-product. Do not hire him or his company.
