I really love coming here to get my hair cut. Shannon is the best and Sharon McAlister gives me the best haircut ever. Shannon keeps a clean shop and the ladies are very friendly. Friends of mine have told me the other services, massage,nails etc. are fantastic. I recommend this place to everyone that wants good service.

We have been going to this Groovy Cuts for years and both children got their first haircuts here. Today we went in to fix a crooked haircut on my two year old and to get my 5 year old daughter's first big girl haircut! When we went in we explained that we had been in a couple weeks back and that the stylist had cut the back pretty crooked and we needed to get it fixed. Knowing I had waited so long I fully expected to pay for both cuts. I never asked for it to be discounted or comped. The stylist was great and fixed his hair quickly and it looked great. Then she gave my daughter a great haircut. The cutest bob ever! But when we went to pay it turned into a circus. They told me my total and it was obviously just the one haircut. I was pleasantly surprised that they chose to fix my sons hair for free even though I had waited. But then the receptionist proceeded to tell me that I had told them that we came in just the day before and we must have gone somewhere else for the bad haircut because it had been a few weeks since we had been there. I just said. Well I am sorry you are right it was a few weeks ago, either you misunderstood me or I misspoke but it was here that we got the haircut and it was a few weeks ago. Then it just got more and more juvenile from there. They just could not stop telling me that we had said the day before. They just kept telling me we must not have gotten the cut there and all but said that we had lied about the day we had come in over and over and over. The manager came over and it got worse. Over and over she just hammered at the fact that I had told them the wrong day and that she heard me say the wrong day. All of this is going on (very loudly) in front of all the other customers and MY CHILDREN and my husband. Finally, I just said I never expected a free haircut. I can pay for both haircuts. I was simply trying to let you know that the stylist had cut it crooked. We just wanted it straightened out. By the time I left I was angry, embarrassed and frustrated. It was such a minor thing and turned into such a big issue. I will never go back to Groovy Cuts again. The manager was just very rude and curt and handled the entire situation very poorly. I have never been accused of lying at a business I was giving my business and money to before.
I wish it were possible to give zero stars. My experience with Meagan and Sarah was a complete nightmare! The dye job I got from Meagan was uneven, didn't reach my hairline, and more importantly the wrong color. While Meagan is very nice, she is also very new. People make mistakes but it's how they deal them that shows professionalism. These ladies are not professionals. Meagan was unavailable to do my color correction and I was seen by her mentor, Sarah. Sarah was very rude and completely wasted my time by having me drive there, with a baby in tow, only to argue with me. She insisted the color looked good and couldn't understand why I was so upset by my maroon hair. After explaining that my hair would need to be bleached, she then told me she didn't have the time or supplies to fix it that day. There were no clients in the salon and several other stylists standing and chatting, but no one would help me. She made it clear it wasn't her work and she was doing Meagan a favor just by talking to me. I've asked numerous times to speak to the owner and I've also asked for my money back. It's been a week now and I still haven't heard from the owner nor have i received a refund. It cost me over seven hours in a salon and $120 to correct the hair disaster I experienced at Legend Salon. My hair is damaged. I have a coupon of free services for this salon that I will never use because of the service I experienced. I'm also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Kathy and Karen both did a great job. I left feeling great and refreshed!!! Everyone working was very friendly.

Who can please everyone when you deal with many types of people and hair, but if your intention is such, you tried., to err is human-to try and try again is passion. Mirror-Mirror is a great place! I have had my hair colored and cut at the salon, the girls at the salon see whole families and have many clients that are long time loyal clients, I have seen all ages come into the salon and even the babies first hair cut.Robin is very good with color and she is very friendly and sweet. Gine likes to welcome people with the best politness i have ever seen, she is very very kind and always has something nice to say, she is very positive and has a good attitude.It's fun to be there and chat with everyone, and you very seldom have to wait.One thing i like about the salon is that i can make an appoinment or I can walk in when I need to and be taken care of on short notice. I also like it that i can come with a friend, we can get our hair done together and walk out feeling good and looking good too. .Tina and Judy owners of the salon, are friendly and run the office smoothly, and they are well experienced hair dressers as well.One stylist has been there 27 years.....Tereasa, has a long clientel and has been a stylist for many years..she is good with the kids and teens.The one thing i think the business could do better at is advertising, but over all they could not have made my vists any better.The atmosphere is open and comfortable.
