Biography

Sara Vazer, MD, is board-certified in family medicine and is a family medicine physician with the Adventist Medical Group. She attended Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India where she obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. Dr. Vazer completed her residency at Penn State University, Hershey Medical Center. Prior to joining Adventist Medical Group, she worked as an Urgent Care Physician at All Day Urgent Care in Gaithersburg, Maryland and also belonged to Physicians Associates, a multi-specialty group practice in Rockville. She currently volunteers at a free clinic for the uninsured/underinsured in Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Vazer works exclusively out of the Montgomery Village office. She loves travelling and spending time with her family. Dr. Vazer strongly believes in the philosophy of treating the patient as a person and not just as a diagnosis. Her special interests include women’s health issues and mental health.
