Before signing for the personal training in Ballys Rockville Center, make a research of the trainers first.
My last trainer was very unprofessional- does not respect clients time( 5 to 10 minutes late), inconsistent with the exercise, rude and does not have a plan or goal for the exercise (he would let me perform a set of exercise on a whim). And on the last session that we had, while I was at the middle of a set of exercise, he said that we would wrap it up cos 'he is hungry' and 'he needs to get his dinner 'and we were at the middle of the session. And this trainer was supposed to be one of the their 'top' trainers.
I had heard good report about Andrew-very professional and Bob- very experienced. I am starting with a new trainer, I would give my reviews after working out with him.
Also, weigh the price vs Golds gym- Ballys $69 vs Golds $ 40 ( prices might vary since I got the $69 on a sale).
i was so excited to join a gym and according to the commercials and advertisements they are soooo helpful at the gym...Thats bull. they dont pay mind to anyone but the blonde fit girls that come in, the most help i recieved was a finger pointed to the cardio machines. not even a tutorial. they are horrible college jocks and jockettes hanging out at an after school chill spot. its crazy.... i dont recommend this place for a begginer. go to the 24 hour gym or something. this place is horrible
