sending my package back in error. package still in rocklin but supervisor wont do anything to stop even when confirmed it was returned in error!!! this is 2017 people!!! we are not doing mail by horse and buggy!!!! if i could give zero starts i would!!!!

I have no idea what has happened to UPS but they have dropped into the toilet! Customer Service is no longer of any interest to them. For the past 10 years I have gone to their Rocklin Distribution Center on Saturdays when they could not deliver a package on a Friday (Hello - I was at work). This past Friday I received their "Sorry we missed you..." note for a package of medical supplies that were very important to me and that had been sent via air, two day delivery. The note told me I could pick the supplies up MONDAY after 1:00 PM. I needed the insulin pump supplies on Friday. So instead of dropping the supplies off to the UPS Access Point on Friday (how do I know they didn't - I drove over there in the hopes that the package was there!!!), they took them back to the warehouse and left them there! I called the distribution center on Saturday to see if I could drive out there to get them but I was told no one worked there on Saturdays. This morning I called to see if they could deliver them to my house instead of after 1:00 to the Access Point, but was told there was no way to get hold of the driver to change the delivery. Then why didn't they tell the driver to deliver them to my house before he left the center?? Even the post office tries to make a delivery at least twice. But not UPS. One try is all you get! What has happened to this company? I may end up in the hospital because of them!! Everyone - start using the US post office or FedEx. Maybe then UPS will wise up!This customer service (try to deliver once only; not open on Saturdays) was a management decision. They are the ones to blame. I want to add that the people who I talked with were sympathetic and tried to be helpful. The drivers have always been courteous and pleasant. Just management is the problem.
They are always helpful when I have to send a package. Also, I can't say enough good things about our UPS driver, Art. He is great and always makes sure we get our packages in good condition. If a box looks messed up, he waits for me to open it and make sure all is in good condition.
The people that run this store are very rude, the older man has a bad attitude and does not have courtesy and his only interest is to make money and charge more for their service, NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE
