I went in for eyelash application and decided to just do the makeup also while there was very very disappointed the eyelashes that I wanted this trip would have given me a boulder look but she used the individual and it did not give a look at all couldn't tell that I even had any additional eyelashes on the makeup was not how I requested I wanted smokey eye I want to build eyebrow and for evening and I got none of the above I just paid and left because I had to be at a wedding but $55 later was the biggest waste of my money and time disappointed me and eyelashes started to fall off during wedding

In response to the review below. Our salon runs by appointment only, therefore we run and work off our appointment book, if someone is late that causes us to be late for the next appointment and so on. If a client is more than 15 minutes late we have the right to reschedule them in order to give adequate time for the service. Offering to not shampoo or style in order to still receive a service is always offered to the client if time allows to do so if they desire. We strive to please all of our clients and deeply apologize for the mishap.
I recently separated from the military and moved to Rockford and was hoping to find a decent salon. Please take into consideration I am not picky because I have had military hair cuts in the past. To begin with, they are never really available for people who actually work through the day. I have been trying to make a appointment and they are not willing to work around a schedule. As well as not working around schedules, I finally made a appointment with them, however when I arrived they said they could not cut my hair with shampoo and styling. That is so unprofessional. Furthermore when I arrived and requested to have my hair shampooed along with my haircut with style, they told me they couldn't do that because they were about to get off at 6 pm. In addition I called ahead of time and told Kayla I was running late because of the snowy weather, and she said it was fine. However when I arrived there with my daughter they said they couldn't do my hair due to their were about to get off shift. I am so irritated with this salon because that is so unprofessional if you are running a new business there should be more flexibility in your schedule. Furthermore when I arrived Trish said she could cut my hair dry without styling, but when I asked if she could cut and someone else could style, she said there is no way because it was about the money. Moreover, I saw Trish go to talk to Kayla about my appointment and I could see through the mirrors she was cussing about me. Like I said I was in the military as Security Forces Police, therefore I have great depth perception along with attention to detail. They both didn't think I saw them cursing around me through the mirrors that are all over, and my 4year old daughter. I am a veteran and believe I should be treated with more respect especially with my daughter along my side. They were rude and unprofessional. Ultimately I will never go to this salon again. I am new to this area and was just looking for a nice professional atmosphere. I do not recommend this salon at all. Please take my review into consideration to whomever it may concern.
I want to Bella for an updo for a wedding. I gave the hairstylist a picture of what I wanted- it should have been easy as I have curly hair. The stylist said she didn't know how to do it, but that she would try. HA. What a joke. Instead, of telling me early on it wasn't looking right, she proceeded to create this monstrosity of a hairdo. When I saw it, I was so displeased, but we didn't have time for her to redo it. They charged me 60 something bucks! I hate looking at the pictures from the wedding because of my hairdo. I should've just gone with the typical mediocre fake-curl,downdo that bridesmaids get...
My Sister and I have been going to The E. For a Mani Pedi for @ the last 10 years (which they are awesome). We usually go to Weiss Morris for haircut & highlights but I decided to try The E for the first time. The hair stylists that attended to me her name started with a "P", Paulette, Paulina, Paula etc... Don't recall..... The Consultation for my hair was great, but the overall look was not from an experienced current stylist.. Good thing I didn't get highlights done. I will continue to go to Weiss Morris for a haircut and highlights and will continue to go to The E for a mani pedi..
I went to this salon today, I got a no chip manicure. The very sweet Allisha did my manicure. She did an absolutely awesome job. I will be going back to her.....I recommend this salon to everyone, it will not disappoint you..... I just love my nails.............
I went in a couple weeks ago just to see what their packages were for bridal parties and had such great service! I live in Alaska currently and I am having my wedding back home in IL in May. This was my last time I will be back in Rockford before the wedding. I went in a day before I left and they hurried up and made the time for me to get an extensions consultation, cut, and full highlight/lowlight. I couldn't believe how helpful they were being. I left with all my appointments booked for May for my bridal party, moms, and me, a great haircut, color, and style and some products. I was also with my soon to be mother-in-law and they helped give her some tips and products specifically for her hair. She later went back and bought it. I will never go to any other salon back in Rockford except this one!
This Business NEEDS to Enter MORE information About itself on Phone Book sites such as Yellow Pages and other such sites. We would like to see your WEBSITE, HOURS OF OPERATION, and MORE than just the MAP to YOUR LOCATION and YOUR PHONE NUMBER. If a potential Customer should call after business hours unknowingly, your company might lose more than a customer. A lot Bad Business or what a person perceives as "Bad Business," is done by word of mouth. Word of Mouth carries a lot more weight than any type of Advertisement your company could ever buy. Just A word from a friend.
I went to The Experience to get a hair cut I had previously had (done by the same person for the 3rd time). I said I want my hair to be cut exactly how it was done before (assuming she knew because they are supposed to take notes of how they cut your hair). To my surprise she cut all of my hair off, without even asking me any questions to make sure that is what I wanted. When I put my glasses back on and she spun the chair around I was in complete shock (I now have hair as short as most men). I quickly paid and left. Once I was in my car I cried for many hours. The crying continued the next day when I went back and all they would give me was a measly 40 dollars. Now I am stuck with a haircut I didn’t ask for, for at least 6 months or more (you have to believe me when I say she cut it ALL off). I will NEVER EVER go back to The Experience again!!!!
