        Overall

        My favorite all-time steak restaurant! Steak is cooked to perfection & not overly spiced to take away from the flavor of your food. Service is always wonderful!

        I had a gift card from xmas, figured may as well. What a wasted 2 hours. Waited to get sat in a half empty restaurant, over 20 minutes to get bar drinks, 25 mins more for soup, which arrived cold with a basket of pretty dry bread, which was removed from table and never refilled. 15 minutes later salads came, mine was 30% tomatoes and cucumber, wife's had the worst Caesar dressing either of us had tasted. Nearly 20 minutes after that, steaks came, very under cooked ( so cold) potato so cold butter didn't melt, wife's also underdone, and everything on her plate cold. Overheard several other patrons complain about cold food. After waiting so long for the first bar drink, I just asked for an iced tea...it was (literally) warmer than my soup was. The manager comped our entire bill (I think half the restaurant ate free that night), which is the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. Only reason to go back is to use the card up, I can't bring myself to even re-gift it. DISAPPOINTING

        Saw their ads on TV and thought I would give them a try. Service was great but I ordered a porterhouse steak. It doesn't show on the menu that it is heavily spiced with a tex-mex rub nor did the waitress tell me of this. The steak looked great and was cooked the way I liked it but from the first bite I knew the rub would be overpowering. I tried to scrape off the rub. I was with some people who would raise holy hell so in order not to have a scene I didn't say anything but I couldn't finish the steak. In fact I left about half behind. I always finish my steak leaving only a clean bone; I am know as the surgeon :) my only complaint is that they should warn their customers about the rub and give them a choice as to if they want it on their steak. Everything else was great but that is why I can give them only 2 stars.
