Forest City Diagnostic Imaging

I can't say enough about Forest City Diagnostic Imaging - wonderful staff, great equipment, prompt service, immediate results! What more could you ask for? Well, I happen to be temporarily in a no insurance situation and really need a diagnostic procedure now, not in a month or two when I will have insurance coverage again. My Dr. faxed the test orders to Swedish American and my selfpay cost there was $2000+radiologists bill (unknown). They won't let you work out a payment plan schedule or complete the paperwork for discount qualification until AFTER the procedure which means you go without knowing if you'll qualify but you are responsible for the entire bill if you don't qualify! A simple call to Forest City got me a selfpay quote that is thousands less than the Swedes quote for the same diagnostic procedure. And, if you pay it all at once at the time of service you get an additional discount. Why would any health care provider blindly order diagnostic tests at the hospitals when they can be done for so much less at Forest City? Why should an insurance company pay so much more for the same test? No wonder we have a health care crisis in this country!!! Anyway, my eternal gratitude and thanks to Forest City for providing reasonable cost diagnostic testing services -- always with a smile. They are simply the best in the entire Rockford area!!!
