Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants founded Southeast Pain Care in 1997. Southeast Pain Care has grown rapidly, currently operating a network of 12 pain management clinics serving more than 40, 000 patients each year throughout the region. Our pain management doctors are all board certified or board eligible in pain management and are also fellowship trained in pain management. We work closely with your personal physician to determine a proper pain treatment program. Southeast Pain Care focuses on two types of pain: new and chronic pain. Acute pain management is designed for active adults who have new pain symptoms and need the help of a specialist. In some cases, pain control is not just a matter of comfort but is also a matter of medical safety that can contribute to the healing process. Chronic pain is a complex condition that refers to pain that has lasted longer than expected for a disease or injury. It is frequently severe enough to limit a person's activity and make it difficult to function at work or at home. Southeast Pain Care's pain management doctors offer a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management. We believe that is vital to work closely with you to determine the proper treatment program. Our years of experience help us listen to each patient's particular situation and make an individual treatment plan that meets your needs. Types of pain we treat include but are not limited to:
