Terrible experience, hardly received any updates on my car. For what i paid youd think ud get better service my car keeps getting put off on the build even though hes been paid off. Its been 5 months since hes had my car. Regret taking it to him.
We used Certified & Winfred to rebuild our transmission in a 1995 Chevy 1500. We are a stump grinding business from Ohio on our way to Hiton Head, South Carolina, when our tranny burnt up on the highway. With one phone call, Winfred assured us that he'd have it done in 5 days. He did it in 3 days, worked overtime those days, kept us informed the whole time, and did a thorough job. He went above & beyond, delivering the truck to the hotel we were stuck at. We normally don't leave a review, but we were so impressed with Winfreds' professionalism we had to leave this one. The price was fair & affordable as well. We recommend Certified & Winfred to other stranded vehicles, they will treat you fair!
You couldnt pay me to take my vehicle here again. The owner or part owner Steve is a joke. He told us he could have our car fixed in 4 days. We didnt get it back until a month and a half later! Im sure you can imagine what a bind this put us in. After mulitple times of us calling him he just had excuse after excuse of doc appointments, his (questionable, druggie) employees not showing up, being sick, out of town...the list goes on and on. After it was finally 'fixed' we got the vehicle back and it leaked oil. After having to rearrange our schedules since we are dependent on this vehicle and taking it back here on 3 separate occassions..it STILL leaks oil. Needless to say we decided to not contact him again since he obviously is not capable of fixing the issue. Now he expects us to pay him a balance he says we owe on the vehicle when we have a receipt signed by him saying 'motor and install paid in full' and is threatening to take us to court. Poor ethics and morals. DO NOT GO HERE.
I had four tires installed at this location. Two months later I had to have the two rear tires replaced due to tire damage. I took the vehicle to another mechanic who told me the two front tires were much older than the rear tires. Turns out when I first purchased these tires they were 4 years and 11 months old at the time they were installed. Goodyear customer service told me basically too bad so sad and that they don't have a policy to limit the age of tires when they are installed. Their customer service person told me that there is no evidence to show that tires degrade over time. I found data that shows that tires over 6 years old will be degraded. Goodyear does not care about the safety of their customers. I would not buy tires here again.
Took car in for an oil change and the next day, car towed to dealer for new engine. Do not use this location for your car service needs! Shop refused to even consider the possibility that their service was in any way responsible for needing a new engine the very next day. They even gave my car a "clean bill of health", recommending new spark plugs.
Nevil S. Used AAA Rock Hill for the first time. I always used AAA Steele Creek, but since moving to Rock Hill, found it a little too far to take my car. The customer service at Rock Hill was first class, they fit me in for a service almost immediately without an appt.They ordered a part for me and installed it the next morning. I will be taking my car there from now on and will recommend them to my friends and family.

AAA asked me to leave a review of my experience with AAA in Rock Hill, S.C. I just read the previous reviews - I can't believe this is the same place! In the past three weeks, I bought Michelin tires there, then had my car’s 28 year old suspension replaced yesterday. Through it all, I was made to feel like family, very welcomed, with all my questions answered and a very friendly “porter” who took me to several places in town so I could get some chores done while I waited for my car. Being a member, the work is guaranteed for two years, but, having had work done by them in the past, the excellent work they do never needs repeating. Their parts are equal to or better than dealer replacement parts and I have confidence that any “rework” that would become necessary will be handled in the same friendly, helpful manner. In the past, when parts needed to be ordered, making my car undriveable until the job was done, I was transported 28 miles home and picked up when the car was ready – for free. Although my dealer will sometimes rent a car for me, I never know if they will or if I’ll have to rent a car - not until it comes up. AAA can be counted on to transport me home and back for free. I can’t praise this location highly enough. They’re the best, and their prices are much lower than dealer prices. That’s a quadruple winner: friendly, great work and parts, free transportation, and good pricing.
