This place is a RIP OFF. We were promised a rebate in cash, when we went to claim it, WOW, it was in store credit!!! When we complained, we were told to go pound salt!!!
We have two refrigerators; different brands. This company has now serviced both over time. We found the service technicians efficient, knowledgeable, professional and neat in their work. Because of our first experience we called them when our other refrigerator had problems. We were not disappointed. We got excellent service at a fair price both times.
Using Charlotte Appliance has proven to be a disastrous mistake. While the sales department at Charlotte was quite helpful to the point of the sale the install and our life with our new highly rated Frigidaire refrigerator has been horrid. The doors, which they had to reverse on site, have been misaligned from day one. The freezer has repeatedly frosted over, prompting two calls to Frigidaire and two independent service visits. The first technician pointed out that the freezer seal was not properly installed. The second technician( removed the seal, attempted to realign the freezer door and properly balanced the machine, and noted that the protective plastic had not been fully removed from the door. Then they told me to chase Frigidaire for a claim number before they could help.It still frosts over (as have we) and it is now our hope that this is just a lemon, compounded by the rather poor installation by Charlotte. We may shop local in the future, but not at Charlotte Appliance.
I am a landlord and frequently shop here. They salespersons are friendly and wiling to help. I buy all of the appliances there. The only suggestion is to have the correct phone number on the sites. I looked at 2 sites and got 3 numbers. None of them worked.
