My wife and I bought a new Honda Odyssey from Ralph Honda in 2009. We had held out on buying a minivan but having our 3rd child put us over the top. We needed more room! With a growing family and little extra cash we were looking for a fair deal on a vehicle we could trust with our whole family. In fact, we took our whole family to Ralph to check out the car. Even with our little ones poking around the showroom (enough to test anyone's patience) the sales staff at Ralph couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. They matched us with the vehicle we needed and they gave us a great trade-in for the Explorer we had outgrown. In the past two years, we've taken the car back to Ralph for regular service and have had only positive experiences. I'm not a "car person" so any car maintanence makes me nervous about getting ripped off. Not only have I never felt that way about Ralph, but my wife (the primary Odyssey driver) has often remarked that she feels the same way too. Buying and getting car service makes us as nervous as anyone - that's why I'd like to spread the word about this great company. Ralph Honda treated our whole family like family. We'll be back there whenever we need service. And we're looking forward to the day we can get something a little sportier than a minivan too!
I've been to many car service shops and out of all of them I must say Lefebre's is my favorite. This is the FIRST car service shop that has been 100% honest with me. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I know when a shop lies to me or not. Most places will try and get you to pay for something thats "broken" or have it replaced when it never broken or in need of replacement. They are extremely straight forward and honest about everything. They are extremely generous and fair when it comes to prices and wont hassle you in anyway. I have been there only three times, four tomorrow, and every time they have been extremely generous with me. One visit I went there and it took them 15 minutes to fix the problem I had and they replaced two lug nuts on my tire. They only charged me for the 15 minutes, most places will charge you the flat-rate 1hour labor fee. They don't have a diagnosis fee, which is the first place I've ever known to do that. Overall, this shop is one of a kind, and I highly recommend it to EVERYONE. I recommend it to all of my friends and family, I would not choose any other auto service center. As their slogan says "Where our customers send their friends.", which is 100% true, I would not recommend any other shop.
I'm usually a 5-star fan of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, but was a bit disappointed, a week ago, when I went to rent a car from them. I set up my reservation online, and called the rental office the morning of the day I wanted the rental, to set up a time for them to come pick me up, as I needed a ride to the rental office. Imagine my surprise, when I was told that they had NO ONE to pick me up, and I would have to make my way there, on my own! Seriously? Hello?? This is what you base YOUR ENTIRE ADVERTISING SCHEME ON, is "Enterprise, we pick you up!" Well, except when we don't! Since I needed the car on time, and couldn't wait for a friend to drive over to give me a ride, I called for a taxi, and "enjoyed" paying an extra $27 for what should have been a free ride, courtesy of Enterprise, to their offices. I'm not sure what the story was that day, but if you're doing to advertise a service, you'd better darn well make certain you actually perform that service for your customers!
I'm a little OCD when it comes to my cr-z, and I really appreciate the service team looking into the little nuances I notice about my car. Such as, my outer driver-side door handle creaking and me not being able to open the door when the sun has been shining on it. I have one month left of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, so they replaced the handle for me. And then I noticed that my inner weather strip on that door had become wavy, came back the next day and they tried to get it to lie flat but it would not. So now they are ordering a new one of those. Thank you for accommodating my pickiness! I know you must deal with a lot of complaints every day. You guys have definitely earned my continued business. Even after most of my warranty is gone, coming to Ralph Honda will be worth the extra $$$ because they stand behind their work.
I have been a customer of Darryl’s Auto Shop for over three years. My first experience was when I brought my mother’s car in to have new brakes installed on her car. After Darryl’s Auto Shop told my mother that she did not need breaks for her car. They explained the other possibilities of what was causing the noise she was hearing. Now what they could have done was told my mother that they changed her breaks and charged her for the service.This would have been the result of most of the auto shops that she has done business with in the past. However, Darryl’s Auto Shop is HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, AND NEVER TAKES ADVATAGE OF PEOPLE FOR BUSINESS, THEY ADVERTISE THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH. NOW THAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF THEIR GOOD REPUTATION. M. East Ave Auto does a fantastic job all around. They have great customer service, they are honest, and always do a good job. I have an older car, and often I need things checked out or replaced. They were always straight forward about costs, and would tell me if I didn't necessarily have to have something replaced even if it would lose them money. They also are flexible, and are willing to take an extra second to answer any questions or just look at something and give their opinion. I really appreciate all the work they have done for me, and its a breath of fresh air compared to other auto place that often try to scam you.
Given the upsetting review written about a situation gone very wrong, I feel compelled to write about my experiences with the Ralph dealership. I have purchased 1 Honda and leased another plus have service done there and I have been treated with nothing but the utmost respect and curtesy. I live East of the city and I think it says something about my continued relationship with Ralph that I drive all the way over to the West side to continue to buy and service my cars there. I do not condone the unfortunate situation that happened to the woman but I have to believe that it was a very unusual occurrence.
Great Experience! I bought a honda pilot from Ralph Honda in 2007. I was very pleased with the sales team while going through the process of getting a car. Taking my pilot in for oil changes and tune ups has been a delight as well. The service team is very easy to deal with, and they are very good at what they do. Also, I was in an accident and the work they did on my front bumper was an A+ job, even though it was very minor it looks like nothing ever happened. Overall I have had a great experience at Ralph, and I recommend them to anyone I know who is in the market for a new car.
I just purchased my new Accord at Ralph Honda. It was a great experience with the sales-team. They helped me choose a car and were a pleasure to work with through the entire process. Other dealers are often pushy, but the Ralph Experience was great.
