Overall

I too only have good things to say about Milestones. I have been shopping there for years and it is the kind of shop that you should visit with time to spare. There is a very large collection of glass gifts all made locally for you to look at and the selection of glass and stained/fused glass supplies is immense. The owner and the shop staff have all been doing glass for years and years and the knowledge that they have is awe inspiring. Everyone takes their time to explain things and will actually get out a piece of glass and their tools to demonstrate a skill if necessary. So if you find that you have to wait a minute to speak with someone.. this is why. They really do take their time to figure out the needs of each customer and then spend the necessary time addressing those needs. I highly recommend Milestone. Oh and feel free to walk with a dog or cat treat if you like animals. Aidan and the cats will certainly like you.

Overall

I have to post here as I have had a very different experience with this shop. I needed very special glass ordered for a custom kitchen cabinets with multiple pains at different sizes. This was in 2011.They all needed custom cut and fitted glass pieces. They do very meticulous lead glass repair in this shop and they are family owned. I too needed to be patience to talk to the owner after I explained what I was needing. I'm sure his wife would have been able to handle most other request I could have had and I didn't get taken aback at her asking. The owner Chuck worked with me on the order and took custody of my doors and they did a masterful job. What is a shame is that he passed this summer. The shop is still run by his wife and they have a number of very skilled artisans that Chuck had trained over the years who can repair the old leaded windows among other things. I have a large foyer panel that got damaged last month in for repair with them right now. It is a great shop and well worth your support.

Disgusting Customer Service

I have to say that I am very disappointed with my first visit to Milestones. I was referred to Milestones by another very reputable business and asked to speak directly with a man by the name of Chuck regading my needs. When I entered Milestones, I greeted the woman behind the desk and asked for Chuck. She asked ""why?"" I can help you. I again asked for Chuck. She said ""He's busy"". I asked when will he be available? She asked ""why, I can help you"". At that point I indicated that I would pass and left. This woman put her head down and returned to her work as if she could have cared less! This is very very poor customer service and this woman is very, very rude and unhelpful. Unfortunately, they lost a very significant order from me.
