the worst university housing

this housing is probably one of the worst university housings and definitely the worst housing management here in rochester. do yourself a favor and just look for other places, you can easily find a much better place for a cheaper or same price. there os no parking for new comers, and you have to park miles away and take a shuttle to your house! and you have no other choice cause you are not allowed to use other university parkings, the parking is so far and the shuttle takes so long that i don't see the point of having a car! the lady in the office is unbelievably rude and ignorant! you are supposed to be either dumb and not question anything or she always rolls her eyes! never ever make the mistake that o did! find somewhere else! i wish i could even take some stars rather than giving some stars

There is a garbage smell all over the building.

The rent increased every year for no reason.

The management is very rude. The lady in the office is often annoyed.

They don't inform you they don't get the rent. They'll inform you when they ask for the late fee. I never paid late before. In my case, there's something wrong with the automatic payment with the bank. When I come to ask them in the office, they said that's how they handle it. Why don't they tell me before the late fee is applied so that the appropriate action can be taken? They said they charged me becoz the NY State law.

But ,Scherer cites cases in which courts held late fees of 5% of the monthly rental to be unenforceable because they were not reasonably related to the harm caused to the landlord by the late payment: Parkchester Apartments v Lewis, NYLJ, Apr. 22, 1998, at 27, col 3 (Civ Ct, Bronx County); 67-25 Dartmouth St. Corp. v Silbermann II, NYLJ, Aug. 11, 1993, at 24, col 5 (App Term, 2d & 11th Jud Dists); 943 Lexington Ave., Inc. v Niarchos, 83 Misc 2d 803 (App Term, 1st Dept 1975)

I called the manager he said he couldn't waive the late fee even I paid after I received the letter. He JUST END THE PHONE CALL. This property does not respect the tenants at all.

I am so upset now.
