We are thoroughly disappointed customers and would like to warn others in search for quality lawn mowing service and reasonable customer service to seek elsewhere. Stat.

With each mowing, our yard is left with a new design of muddy ruts and torn up grass from their giant mower operated at lightning speed. Patches of the yard have been flown over leaving sections grass untouched (we've measured it at 9" tall after a fresh mow). After last week's mowing, they left a nice layer of grass clippings covering our garage door and driveway. Even our neighbors can't stand watching the low quality lawn care we are paying for.

Please be advised that this is most certainly a company to avoid. Quality and customer service after reporting issues are not taken seriously.

In October 2016, our backyard was stripped, graded, filled with top soil, and seeded with grass seed by a local lawn care service. That same month, the owner moved out of the area due to health reasons and he gifted all of his accounts to Callahan's Lawn Care / Mike Callahan.

Callahan's employees drove a large, heavy tractor style lawnmower over the new growth on 3 separate occasions. This resulted in large areas where growth was diminished or destroyed, clearly in the pattern of lawnmower tracks. Mike came to look at it and agreed there was damage inflicted and to repair it in the spring by regrading with soil and overseeding. After 2 months of waiting to receive written confirmation of this agreement, I did receive an email from his assistant on 11/29/16 stating "We will be out in the spring to regrade tire tracks in your backyard from the mower damage." and inviting me to call or email with any further concerns.

After calling several times and being given many excuses/dates when noone came, I then emailed the owner directly, attaching a copy of the original email stating that repairs would be made, and demanded a fixed date of service. I never received a phone call or email response.

To date, noone has come to repair the lawn, although they still come weekly to mow our property. While the mowing is always done well, they are inconsistent and neglectful of weed whacking/trimming around the swingset and trees. The ONLY reason I am still paying them to mow my lawn is because they need to repair the damage and it is too late in the season to hire another company. Next year I'm sending my business elsewhere ASAP.

My first year hiring for lawn care. I have been very pleased with the service so far. I also like the fact I can pay online and view my invoices. I hope to continue with Callahans Lawn Care next year and also plan on getting snow plowing for the winter.
