We signed the lease the day before we moved in and everything seemed fine. The day of the move, our "finished basement" carpet was soaked. We checked inside the laundry room and there was water up to the step that had leaked throughout the carpet leading into the living area. After reporting the issue to maintenance and having them suction the water out two days later, we noticed the drywall in the laundry room was covered with black mold. We were horrified. We notified our landlord again and was told that maintenance would come to clean it up. They scrubbed the mold. They told us it was fine. They told us it wouldn't come back. We have since recently experienced the toilet pipes upstairs leaking into the ceiling, coming through the light fixture in the dining area and throughout the basement. The entire basement wall was covered with water. The hallway carpet was soaked. The basement carpet was soaked. And the mold? It has come back full force and has grown to reach the living area of the basement. We notified our landlord immediately. Maintenance was called. He asked if we could wait until Monday (this happened on Saturday). We said no because of the scare of electrical fire issues due to the water. They brought big fans to dry the carpet. When they came two days later, after drying the carpet up, we were told all thats left is paint. Paint..to cover the 7 water stains on the ceiling. Paint to cover the mold. What about our health? We were told Mark IV Enterprises never lets tenants out of their lease and they have had WORSE situations arise where tenants have asked to break the lease. We also have recordings of this conversation. I've been diagnosed with asthma this year. I've had neck and back pain that has been unexplainable. I have seen doctors for xrays to try to find something, but we cannot figure it out. I have had awful migraines and issues breathing. Please do yourself and children a favor. Don't rent from Mark IV.
Robert was incredible during the whole process of my wife and I searching for a home. There were quite a few houses that we really loved, but didn't end up getting them and as first time was pretty discouraging but Robert helped push through and we were able to find an amazing house and with his awesome negotiating skills we were able to get it under for what it was listed. If you're looking to buy a house, Robert would be the man to ask. One more thing to add he made his schedule very flexible to mine and my wife's work schedule which made the process much less stressful. You will not be disappointed!
Robert helped me found my dream first home! He had all the patience in the world helping me find what I wanted and didn't settle for anything less! 5 star agent!!!!
Great experience working together with Sandy. She is very professional and helped me sell my home quickly. Sandy kept me informed throughout the process and gave me suggestions on how to best present my home. She was always available to talk and update me and worked around my hectic schedule. Thanks Sandy for a great job, I would recommend you to anyone selling their home.
We had a great experience working with Rob. He responds very quickly to emails, calls and texts. He showed us multiple houses before we found the right fit. He doesn't try to push any house on you; in fact when he looks at houses with you he will voice his concerns if he doesn't think it a good fit. We would work with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate agent they can trust!
Outstanding Realtor, very easy to work with, very knowledgeable in the Rochester real estate market! Hope to never have to move again, but if I do... Robert will be my very first call!!!
I was the first male to graduate 2015, and as a student, spiritually speaking have been a blessing, and has steered me in The right direction in Ministry. The tools used in the class is biblical and foundational. I am forever grateful the opportunity to have begun at CATEVA MINISTRY SCHOOL...ChaplainE.L.E.
owe my business over $700 and they're refusing to pay. Beware. Have sent multiple emails and calls
After getting blown off by 2 Keller Williams agents we decided to contact Sandy. We'd narrowed our search to Brighton for various reasons and loved that she knew the area well. She's a straight shooter who knows her stuff and gets the job done. If we wanted to see a house she would repeatedly drop what she was doing to meet us and would give us her expert opinion. Never once did she just try to get us to buy just any 'ol house. She was able to understand what it was we were looking for. She's aggressive the way you need your realtor to be in this market and she delivers. As 1st time home buyers we were so unbelievably overwhelmed, but Sandy held our hands and carried us through the buying process like a well choreographed waltz. We can't say enough wonderful things about her. She truly cares about her clients. If you're serious about buying or selling give her a call. You won't be disappointed.
DO NOT EVER RENT from a MARK IV property - This company does unethical business...There lead counsel does not follow due process and will invoke an income execution without any due process...the lead counsels name is ANDREW ****, ESQ ..They do not follow new York state laws when it comes to landlord tenant rights. Their senior living communities also are a major point of concern. to lure the senior community in they place pamphlets and supply propaganda on how to get out of your lease to move into the senior community but when you have to place your parent into assisted living they CHARGE fees to get out of the lease (bait and switch)...PLEASE research all business dealings with this company before you even look at an type of housing... there is/was an outstanding case in Monroe county court regarding unfair garnishments ...this is the go to tactic of this counsel...BE VERY CAREFUL...
